The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Simon is wrong I believe in his assessment I believe. This stock should now see a steady rise pre-clinical. The cap is too cheap for a company bordering on clinical, especially given this is a "fix" to re-submit, and the "fix" was pre-agreed/discussed with the FDA, testing doen and complete etc.
Nothing is a given, but the CoS of the hold being lifted is good. Has to be 3p+ before the FDA announcement I would imagine.
If I were you Simon, I'd buy some.
AIMO.
Good luck to you Mary. I believe anyone who invests as a PI is under stress the minute the buy goes in. I try my best to manage risk. The odds were for the gap to fill. It is likely, not definite but likely. Everyone wants and needs to make money. Good luck to you with PFC. Ultimately, I believe PFC is a super choice investment for the long term. They have a great team in Sharjah I'm sure and excellent experience, especially with the Tennet projects. If anyone got spiked at 40p I think that will be a distant memory in good time. Trying to get the top and bottom of a stock is a mugs game and impossible. Fundamentals will out here in the end. This downtrend may see 20p, as a minimum 22p just by looking at the TA.
Evening mary. How's the share price doing here now? Remember when it was going to 45p the other day - some would have bought on the back of your absolute confident posts. More balance needed I'm afraid. You have it in you I'm sure.
Currently there are 517,000,000 share in issue. Current MCAP is circa. $143m. What do Petrofac need to raise? 1/2 BN? £1/4 BN? Even if they raise just £150m @ 20p ps, that doubles the SII. Then you have to deduce they WONT raise - too dilutive. Here in lies the tricky one, what on earth will the board do, how much do they need and when do they need it? You then have to look at an asset sale + dilution as a potential solution.
When you look at the long term prospects, wow, what a business they've got, and what an order book! If it were me Id try my level best to protect shareholders, ie, no dilution, but is that possible?
A genuinely interesting situation and I think everybody is keen to see this pan out, for the good of everyone involved! That includes LTH's.
I was just joshing JHFH - nrly there with the IND for those long suffering folk. Vlad is obviously exceptionallly talented, but my word, it's been a long journey. GL to you. One just hopes that Vlad for once delivers, properly delivers - clean RNS, "we are clinical", end of. SP rises, investment then follows at the right levels. ie, between 5-7p, at least.
Even if your'e on the sidelines, this is one to watch for sure. Nobody has a clue what will happen, but given the shorts are STILL increasing, you have to assume they are not choosing red or black....very interesting.
