An appraisal well will require a new pad,not something you would do before knowing the result of the first drill. Imagine the abuse from the armchair CEOs if they spent a few hundred thousand dollars on a pad if the first drill was unsuccessful, plus the results will impact the position of an appraisal well.

Drilling two prospects then using the information gained to plan appraisals wells after the rainy season is a sensible plan.

There is zero reason for HE1 to keep secret any plans for a second drill. They have repeatedly stated one well.

He1 is drilling one well. They have repeatedly stated this to be the case. Where are the drilling ancillaries for this second well stored? The equipment for a second well would be stored at camp Ruwka and as you have stated it is empty. So where is this equipment?

Even if the shareprice increases to 1000p a share a raise at 11p when it was 18p a couple of days before is not a stroke of genius. A raise at a premium would have been a stroke of genius, 15p would have been ok, 11p was poor.

The average salary is not 300k a year. That figure included share based payment. The salaries without the shares were 336k. Minchin was the highest salary at 120k.

They not only agreed to the placing price, but for some reason accepted more. Entirely justified.

Novum have made Paul look like a fool. Raising at 11p was a bad decision and taking the extra should really lead to Paul questioning if demand was so high then why the price. Some experience of financial and corporate markets is required on the board.

The board have done an incredible job on the exploration side, but the financial side is sorely lacking and admitting this is not a weakness if you address it.

Cannot argue that they have done a good job on the exploration side, woeful on the financial side and seeming not learning lessons despite numerous muggings by Novum. Novum needs replacing and fox davies not covering themselves in glory either. Agreeing to the extra is a poor decision.

The price is a reflection of the bent London markets, but Paul is not blame free. He still agreed to it at 11p. He either thinks that's a fair price or his proactive interview about defending loyal shareholders was just cheap talk.
