And Draper isn’t a terribly experienced CEO… But he has learnt on the job and surrounded himself with people who actually really do know their ****. I would assume he has learnt a lot from them and it says something about the man that he doesn’t want to be surrounded by duffers and sycophants.
Very well thought out Shaky.
I would add that all successful AIM companies have MDs who have lied a bit. Got to get the funding. got to get to the inflection point where your baby finally takes off. What you have to avoid is incompetence… I mean ITM built a factory to manufacture electrolysers that had the wrong power supply so was completely redundant ffs. And yet has been a company worth several billions….
Draper head learnt and now has his ducks in a row.
Shareholders who bought before that was clear only have themselves to blame. But of course it’s easier to blame someone else…..
Agreed to some extent Mike - but Invinity are careful to point out with each new confirmed order that a deposit is paid. Unlikely to be the full cost of raw materials , but certainly some of the cost.
It’s the further 11MWh that may drop before year end that’s keeping me interested… Though if it didn’t in all honesty I could really complain given the Taiwan news already.
Also the Taiwan news suggests further pleasant surprises!
Know the figures
I must say Tradevol, I wouldn’t be surprised if you were right…. Please understand I have plenty invested so hope you are not. £6.5m still represents very significant compound growth. I would actually prefer this lower figure if costs are also controlled (not so much tightly controlled but not expanding as fast as the turnover). I’m not so sure expansion/land grab at any cost is a great look at the moment. It’s the forward statements that remain critical; there is obviously a lot of activity, if they could make some forward projection confirming 2-300% revenue growth half on half and exponential reach improvements the SP looks far too low.
We’ll see - if it’s all billed electronically they will no the figures today!
Cricket Manager likely to be popular in India I would have thought…. Soon to be the most populous country in the world… All with mobiles!
Back to the ridiculous spread again then to put off buyers….
But surely Bottmz it the MDs fault I invested too early before the real potential was known… He absolutely promised me there would be instant riches without having to do any work at all!
twib, accepting your question was somewhat rhetorical in nature, IES is clearly much further down the line to commercial success than it was when the sp was 200+.
Of course there has been dilution down the way, so the sp will reflect that. Having said that however if the tech really is taking off this has exponential written all over it. (ramp acknowledged - but I am heavily invested.)
Now the warrants may become relevant to look after any further funding (anyone making some profit on them deserves it!)
Excellent post ShearClass.
I hope you don’t mind, I copied onto another board, acknowledging your authorship.
So back to mcap £120mil sharpish then?
Would be great for LODES to drop before the end of Dec! This is where I though the next movement would be…
Well just in a repeating pattern really: crazy spread to discourage buying, bit of selling, narrow the spread, bit more selling, drop the offer at last and buyers return, back to crazy spread. Repeat.
Absolutely Helx2, I can’t read what has been said but blaming others for your own foolish decisions rather than facing up to your own mistake and changing your approach no doubt!
Tradevol fwiw I have a very large chunk also… Modesty forbids but you are not alone in your conviction!
Absolutely Publican.
The money is made with patience; my first real success was ITM… Clearly about 4 years early but an average of about 13p before it took off… Thought I was clever selling at £1, thought it was fully valued at a billion before continued north to a valuation of several billions… (On little actual revenue and with the same bafoons managing the company).
Run the winners… But don’t be too greedy.
