I've subsequently understood that UK short reporting actually comes from the broker managing the position, which makes it even less likely to be manipulated. I'm just covering potential areas of weakness for longs.

I've been saying for a while that 88e is historically a great stock for trading as it bounces around.

As an investment it has so far been an utter waste of time. Perhaps one da that will change: I for one will be happy I that happen.

Until then, I've yet to see anyone rebut Scots analyses with data. Those who dontvgive a damn need not read them. Those who enjoy contradictory views will welcome them.

Reported late. Biggest number for a while, but consistent large quantities

However, Mangrove have 14m shares to buy and have to report every change of share ownership exceeding 0.1% in their short.

How do they do that, apart from underhand methods? For example 20 separate buyers who "unexpectedly all sell to Mangrove in one day".

What other mechanisms would enable that transfer of so many shares?
