well almost, still 2.23% up. This share just seems to fall back every time it rises. If it were not for the major investors who have built up big stakes I think I would dump HSV - but if they have confidence then so do I.
Now that''s what I call a rise.....26 Oct 2012 19:57
Finally some action and upwards 11.24% - OK the volume is tiny but i really think the guys behind this company have got their heads screwed on.......................GS
I'm expecting a HUGE drop in sp today.............do you think this will have the oppostite effect ;)
It's just frustrating when we take one step forward and two back - but heyho thats investing for you!
Reflecting on your PSN holding as you have more than doubled your original investment I think I would sell half and diversify into something else. But.............it's got to be as good or better than PSN. Then again a nice holiday or a little treat would also be in order.......;)
Should I sell or should I stay now.........???
All depends on you mate. If you need the money sell. If you don't, I think you could do a lot worse than invest in psn.
Yes, I did better in the short term with sclp than holding psn. That said I sold 2/3rd of my sclp holding a week ago, took some profit (could have been a lot more if I had sold at the peak - usual story!), and I am currently sitting on the cash waiting to re-enter when I think/hope sclp has finished dropping. Still sitting on 1/3rd of sclp just in case things go bollistic.
On Thursday I decided I had had enough of my heavyweights so sold BATS and VOD at a loss. I have recovered about half that loss in two days with PSN so you can imaging I am failrly happy. I have decided this time PSN is going to be a long term hold - sounds like you have the same strategy............GS
yesterday. With house prices set to rise in the next year and PSN sitting on a lot of building plots they bought a few years back I think we could soon see the sp well over the 800p barrier. This and the lure of big dividends over the next 10 years make this a long term banker. IMHO
or was it 2 inches today? I think this is a good medium term hold, and there are several institutional investors who think likewise. Then again if you have a good profit perhaps its prudent to take it and move on...............
Price of crude is probably not helping the SP, but it seems Russia is keen to improve relations with overseas investors which should help by de-risking the business.
So much for charts - we took a bit of a mauling today down to £138 but recovered to just a couple of points down, come to think of it most of my PF took a bit of a mauling. I am still confident we will be up by the next production figures on 5/11 and looking to top up before.
I am in at 57.5p so well down on my investment. However I sitll believe this company will come good, or gooder as there is really nothing wrong with what they are doing, quite the opposite in fact.
but I'm out after a 17% net return in 26 days. Have to admit I was only in MAYG for the short term after suspecting the big fall haD been overdone. Good luck all longs - I am confident this will be a good on too hold on to, but just not my strategy in this particular instance.................GS
