We appear to be sat in a holding pattern which will be tested when news lands. I say when as there appears to be a decent support around this level ATM but then again I am a million miles away from being anything chart related. I don't believe in the FOMO scenario but i am seeing that the regular pumpers and dumpers seem to have been quieter

When the trolls return i always see it as a good sign as they openly try and promote other companies which demonstrates that VRS are doing something right and they are getting worried their spreadbets or shorts are about to leave them high and dry.
It is evident that they don't actually hold any shares in the company and I have never thought about commenting on another share that I don't hold in a negative way. I am more about trying to make money than and time is money
RE DCTA mask am I wrong or does this not include any standards tested against only a comment that it is with scientists and a white paper will be produced. that says to me they are playing catch up and are way behind the drag curve. If they had done the right testing and had the right quality to put through certification why wouldn't they. That would surely come to the table as the masks aren't just about CV19 they have a wider use

A decent little update and proper questions of Neill from Sarah and not the normal ass kissing some give. interesting to note when asked about polygrene uses he obviously mentioned the Arches but stated subway before underground a small update re china and positives

This is actually a sector where I have a lot of background knowledge and industrial espionage has been around for a long time and it isn't just China that is involved in this either. Virtually every country and industry has something that someone else wants and that makes them a target whether that be for political, ideological or financial reasons.
If you think the US don't do this then you are sadly mistaken. the US are scared ****less about being left behind and they know they are yet the amount of data breaches that happen due to basic schoolboy errors are ridiculous and backed by terms and conditions that basically users sign up to that state the information belongs to the company half the time.
From a corporate standpoint VRS will be a target as is every organisation of value but you can reduce the probability if you employ good basic principles and have defence in depth. The hardest thing to defend against is the insider threat. I believe we have mitigated that by spreading the load across multiple elements but again nothing is infallible.
Fortunately I believe we have engaged with the right people and from what I have read have taken advice from the government. It will always be a risk but if you have a set of independent yet interconnected security controls in place, supported by a robust back up regime, you will be able identify any nefarious activity early on.

TBH I've been waiting for Neill to pull the rabbit out of the bag for a while now and hope that time is coming real soon. I have nothing to link football shirts to us but I not that Chelseas new one is available to purchase at the end of the month, Liverpool the beginning of next and lots of shirts being leaked. Nike is looking to launch all around the same time which I suspect will be the week either side of 23rd. Could that be one of them?
Rishi Sunak is speaking today on the next steps on coming out of lockdown and I don't get my hopes up anymore here that they talk of infrastructure rebuild but again I do believe its coming. I mean yesterday Boris mentioned driverless trains was a condition to the tfl bailout. Now if I am right that only has the chance to succeed with the improved signalling and communications.
re yesterday there was a lot of 10000 sells and later 10000 buys a lot Automatic trades. It gave the impression someone is trying to create a market and trigger stop losses etc

There are multiple companies within the graphene space that can make a decent sector. I am surprised at Haydale as tbh I don't rate them at all. I am not here to talk of other shares tho but as you mentioned it their SP has risen on literally nothing. If the leisure products start to land in the week before / after 22nd July or the arches announced within same timeframe well that's a proper rise coming
I totally agree nunquam. Lets face it the Gov ad british military suppliers arent going to ignore the products and hand over the goods to China or even the US for that fact.
Graphen will have a big part to play in the infrastructure build demand and it will be difficult to not see us right in the middle

I think it is hard for anyone to say the last 12 months go to plan but not all of that has been in VRS control.
CV19 may not have delayed the work VRS has been doing but it has imho affected the "last leg"
Arches and 4LM would have been underway
Euros and federation cups too for sports apparel
Olympics for sports apparel
New season shirts for sports apparel
China well would have been well under way there and Hong Kong (no problem)
I didn't have a clue about Winsun att but knew Chris was excited about concrete
What it demonstrates is that is a fluid world and nothing is guaranteed but having seen some shares fluctuate on a small RNS I would suspect a decent uplift on good news.
I know nooothing
Personally I don't think that is the case as the Chinese Gov was involved and would send a disastrous message to any future investors. They have committed to openness and transparency.
I do however think that the China / Hong Kong thing may have had an effect
For me I was a little surprised this morning and I think that YBG have been put on notice so to speak. It will either focus the mind or enable additional options to be pursued and with vigor.
I have yet to see anything in the chinese media regarding this and I have not seen any other companies mentioned anywhere in China as I have VRS. This is not dead and buried.
Matt coming on board is a good sign and looking at the build up of Matt, James and Dan its a good formation and sign of things to come
Re the Innovate injection thats a significant leap from previous Innovate loans etc and a very positive sign
I suspect (I have no proof) that machine(s) will be on order given the wording on the RNS

Thank you for such a valuable insight and contribution to this forum.
You don't have to read and I clearly state its for your own research should you wish to do so. Sadly I feel I already know who this is.
BTW I will continue to post things I feel may be worth the attention of others here and it is up to them how they interpret
I know nooothing
For reference you may see me as I know nooothing elsewhere as accounts were created at different times in my life over 12 years of investing etc.
My research has seen lots of companies try to jump on the Graphene bandwagon and this post relates specific to China. Some of those companie have failed and some even claim to produce 10s of tons of product (Sixth element) but we all know the quality of that product and probably know the reason they had to curtail some work was due to their use of chemicals (non green) and not adding value add to products. So why am I talking about Versarien.
A while back China was a bit wild west and had a scatter gun approach similar to if you fire enough you will hit something etc. this was costly in a number of ways. Funds were depleted, poor quality Graphene was utilised and ideas with great commercial potential did not demonstrate a cost to benefit ration, hence the industry suffered. But what if they had actually used quality Graphene as opposed to Graphite?
China realised imho that this was a crazy way of doing business and set the reset button. They looked at it and said, "What do we have to do to give ourselves the very best chance of success?"
The very best ideas that would make them world leaders
The very best innovation that challenges the now
The very best access to finance to commercialise those
The very best facilities
The very best product to give them the very best chance of success
That is where the seed incubation hub comes into play. Imagine having 3000 ideas pushed at the funnel. You identify the best 100 and they get all the above mentioned to give them the very best chance of success. Others might be great ideas but not just yet, They could come direct eg like Winsun.
Now Go do some research yourself and see if you can find any graphene company that has the connections into China like Versarien have. I mean really go check. You will see nothing of any significance. I drew my own concusion.
Neill and the team have always said they will look to lift and shift replicating the first potentially globally and having done it once its a damn site easier the 2nd, 3rd etc. Lessons learnt will dramatically reduce the time moving forwards, regardless of location or regulatory requirements.
This is only My thoughts on My research and I recommend you follow your own
I am relaxed about my investment and excited about the future. I have translated and read more websites and documents than I ever imagined I would and I am still excited about the prospects.
But remember this is just about China and has totally ignored the other things in flight at the moment.
DYOR. Don't over expose yourself to ANY single share, trust yourself and be patient.

Given the question asked I will assume that you have not completed any research into the company and are looking purely based on speculation. I have no issue with this at all and welcome.
May I please direct you to the corporate website which provides a good overview of the company. I am sure that you will note that not all companies are actually valued on sales or to that degree profitability in the relative early years.
Take a look at the last Interims which will provide a lot of information of use about the direction of travel but also be aware that these are always backwards looking and can only tell you about what has already happened.
Hopefully you will find something that makes you want to research the company a lot more like I have. When you do that the choice to invest is yours and I have invested and keep adding monthly

Having listened about 4 times now there is stuff in there I missed the first time round.
Some people had high expectations and believed that an RNS or breaking news would come out. I wasn't one of those. I did however think it would have been preferential to read the question and then answer it. People were reading the question as Neill and Chris were talking and you fail to here what was said and process it (I was guilty)
Matt is still here. Neill wants to keep him but no decision made. Neill also keeps in touch With Peter Jay and the other (Forgot name but a great secondee)
Things are progressing and have had some challenges, cultural, law and regulation. I know they want to do things in person with big signings as it shows their position and importance (Is that the cultural thing and has the latest CV 19 outbreak in Beijing had an effect?)
Youngs is a front company for the gov so they don't have to break rules regarding investment versus current market value imho (regulatory) and as for the law part well my research is steering to wards a large graphene requirement and parks etc so is it expanding? I think it would have been preferable to have had the initial one done and then replicate but maybe the Chinese want it all in a oner. They also mentioned Brexit having an impact as well so I suspect some of those are historical.
I saw a company that was growing up and maturing and doing things in a formal way rather than just using bangers etc. Its far from perfect but it will get there (Re presenting but thats not his focus atm)
I feel they were sensible in under promising as they have been accused of the opposite in the past. Now they can over deliver.
Re Winsun so we didn't sign a collaboration agreement but do we need to? I didn't see them promoting any other company at their press day especially getting a non native speaker on video call.
I had a small top up this morning on the initial drop only just over 2k but happy to pick those up as some flapped
I know nooothing
I think this all relates to the RNS below as when you look at the timing it fits with the Winsun projects in the video and AECOM being Winsun partner.
https://www.investegate.co.uk/versarien-plc/rns/agm-statement/201909240700053688N/
This is the part and interestingly what are the other 2 if the speed and water are 2? UAE or Neom? Rio Grande?
We are also trialling a new grade of concrete at the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre and at a civil engineering institute featuring a graphene based material. These trials form part of our collaboration agreement with AECOM, along with a further four projects in China and the Middle East.
I know nooothing
Well if the water cant get into the concrete it is less prone to rusting. Also I wonder if in the not too distant future they will be using something other than steel to build
I know nooothing
I average in the 70s but the upside is ridiculous if only some of it materialises.
I didn't invest for the now though I am disappointed at the SP. I've still at 3 years to go till I will pass judgement but I do feel we are really close to a change
The post I laid out earlier was in relation to 1 of the 5

Apologies if you already have seen this but on youtube there are some Winsun videos of an event that took place on 24 May 2020. This was there annual event and a special guest performance was made by Matt Walker and I believe Bruno.
On Youtube Panel Discussion part II is the video and I have listened (Its in chinese) and had google translate for me.
Matt speaks in a separate video which is basically just an introduction and letting others see and hear him. Unfortunately google could not translate his brummie accent. Matt's appearance was significant given that there was no way he could attend due to lockdown and so they made it a video link. That to me shows he is a significant part of what is going on and he indicated he is looking forward to seeing the biggest 3D printed building in person.
In a 20 minute discussion they talked about one company Wosarun (Versarien) with a brief overview of the sectors we work in already. Then they spoke of 2 specific projects in China a water based project and a sound project both involving printed concrete.
When talking of the sound product it was stated that 0.35g per litre of cement was used and teepee later confirmed that it was 0.8 for the water based concrete. The results were imho a significant improvement an I will update later. The sound element was as they were looking to reduce noise from the roads and had been having lots of complaints so they built a 70m test wall which was 6m high with printed concrete. This reduced the db from a reduction of 20db using normal solutions to 30db using this. I have been told that equates to doubling the reduction.
They spoke of the product in a lot of good ways talking of a "Great Wall that can really be launched before and is our entire body material, the entire industry chain has completely broken through the sound barrier. The significance is extraordinary and the market is very broad" Make of that as you wish. They said "first thing we think of we are beautiful on the material"
They spoke of infrastructure and expecting to have a 15 - 20 year lifespan and now at the 15 year point. They also said traffic has increased so this could be shorter. This indicated to me that there is a need to do things very soon. They spoke of viaducts and pillars which I read as roads and bridges.
They said the product was more expensive but then gave some context as to the benefits
water resistance = 400% improvement
50% less cement used
Lasts 3 x longer
double the noise reduction of existing solutions
GREENER and that was a much talked of element
In short more expensive initially but a significant saving long term
They also said, "it is true that I will be more urgent behind the period, so I hope that 3D printing will be adopted as soon as possible. You can realise the peaceful life of people as soon as possible.
The water solution is about flood defences and take a look at how much that costs in damage a year
I know nooothing
Not just that at all I hope.
Research has been a key and things being uncovered that link to stuff. An element of positivity and a change of sentiment.
I know nooothing
I don't have any issue with having some other companies in the graphene sector and welcome the DCTA and other announcements as they come out as they demonstrate that the industry is actively looking for solutions to address engineering problem. It is ok for there to be lots of people fishing in the same pond. Some will keep picking regular tiddlers here and there that will keep them in the game whilst others will be playing the long game and hunting out the whoppers
Take a look at the Jinan High Tech East District for starters if you want the dreams to meet the future.
Its almost like there is a plan somewhere despite what some might say. I mean we never really had an LOI in 2018 did we that said what the intention was.
AS I will always say don't believe anyone elses words do a little digging yourself and you will find
