Hi, The Corporate Administration Office at the First Island Trading Company Ltd, appears to be a Neeshal Ram, whose LinkedIn profile says he started that job in 2015, after working as a cleaner at Southampton University for a year. Seems to have studied law in Mauritius and Southampton. Doing well then?

I think the whole point of the Niobium references was to reassure one or more interested parties that BMN wouldn�t deliberately spike the Vanadium price by messing with supply and diverting it all to VRFB�s. Agreed Niobium would be a one way trip for a steel producer. However I have no idea how much of this is done already for other steel grades normally. Presumably steel enhanced like this would be lighter ( as potentially stronger ) so being done anyway, but not for cheaper rebar for basic construction. And is probably mined by a rival company, so the message from BMN was really �We know if we mess our customers about they will switch V supplier�? I have an interest in the U.K. power industry and cannot overstate the importance of high performing VRFB�s are to the future of the electricity supply. A renewable energy supplier can � Bank energy�, timeshift the supply peak load at premium rates and there are minuscule consumable fuel costs! What�s not to like!!? The U.K. share of VRFB�s should outstrip the UK�s ability to charge them within about 5 years; that�s why we are building another � French connection� . The National grid capacity market notices/ balancing alerts and gridwatch websites are interesting ( in a sad, sad way..) The danger for BMN is A) someone else has a bigger hole and has the same idea and makes a better job of it and B) Zinc/ bromide or other more reactive batteries are � favoured� by someone with a death wish.... ;-?

The other important issue I have not seen been picked up here is �Keep the Vanadium price at a sensible level�, as steel producers have told them they will switch to Niobium for strengthening if the V price starts to rise too high. If the Vanadium price rockets it would be bad for all concerned in the long term as it is core to VRFB development as well as traditional uses. FM did point this out during the presentation. 😊
