Nothing to say another form of test that's many times faster cannot be run alongside PCR in the future. Maybe LAMP, or with a partnership. If things go pear shape, and we get another lockdown, those units can be transferred to get outbreaks under control.

I have sat in a factory watching new kit installed. 2 weeks downtime, its not an app installed on a phone. Automation takes space, a lot of procedures. The workforce that were packing will be diverted, and in the short term down time. The staff are probably doing short runs of a product. Custom packages would be a nightmare, and would need double checking regardless. More likely they are looking for a new location ;).
