Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Shareholders, or should I say, "suspended" share shareholders. We would like to issue 1 billion new "suspended" shares to raise some money...please vote yes, as we will be doing the same thing to protect our 7.3% "suspended" shareholdings. Given that the Company’s trading business is yet to generate profits, the directors recognize that conservative cash management continues to be of paramount importance. We plan to make a smaller operating loss of slightly less than the previous $6.1m. Business is booming. Yes We Can!!!!
AIM confidence in this company has not returned but confidence within the company has returned. Now they are considering growth through acquisition once again. This is GOOD NEW!!!!
And WW3?...Time to stock up the bunker dotlink - The north Koreans are coming for your shares..
How is this a positive spin. I don't understand.
Good new from ASO and Gold price UP so I was hoping for a 10-15% rise in share price and volume of traded shares to be in the 10s of millions. Instead all we get is 3-4% rise and volume is super low < 2.5 million...Looks like there is still a significant amount of lack of trust for this company. Not surprised after all the money lost on this last year.
How will this impact AFPO?
No shares sold since the 15th
lost me there stoned.
Hope so. Still sitting on some shares. Not sure why I have not bailed like the rest. I would like AFPO to succeed so that Africa has a new reasonably priced source of potash. Btw, who is this dude badmouthing CC and taking AFPO to court?
Uganda, eh? at least its a more progressive country then Zambia. I want to hear that countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Rwanda are signing up.
Looks like a slowdown today due to people taking their profits. Resistance that should break upwards next week, me thinks.
Not many left on here :-) I have had such a spell of bad luck on AIM recently. AFPO and now BT down 20% in one day...aaaaaah!
Sheol, why are you so mad at Chris and who is he anyway :-) @stonedchick, you always talk about afpo as though you have some personal ties to it. e.g. for this thread you said "We won't relist...". Hmm...My theory is this: 1. You are CC in disguise and that would explain Sheol's outburst. 2. You have invested heavily in this and have become personally attached to the company. so which one is it?
I agree, finding a nomad that would be willing to support afpo would be a challenge. I think they would have to turn things around in a BIG way before they even consider aim again.
stonedchick you still seem to have a lot of optimism here . Do you think there is any hope he company will be tuned around. Even with so little cash to spend? Is anyone here still holding?
some of us jumped in in August, 34p probably wont see that again this year but at least the Company is showing signs of recovery.
Looking forward to more.
Yes but after recent changes there ma be hope to recover some of that loss but I do not expect to see much change in price here until Summer.
Does this mean they are out of ISDX also?
Hey BB, I didn't think there was anyone left still hoping. After all you have seen and heard, do you really have hope for afpo? Even if by some miracle a nomad is selected today, it will be years before the price shifts. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with hope as long as you don't invest too much of your heart into it. Best of luck. Btw where did stoned go, she was always very positive...
