I would expect a commentary to come sooner than later on the restructure likely in favour of splitting off the Kazak assets. And guidance that they will be paying the dividend in August to bolster the share price.
I'm surprised this isn't sub £3.50; reputation in tatters, financial outlay enormous, confidence battered.
Any thoughts on who the auditors will be? 4 tendering l understand
Given the avenues they have just advised in Russia to ensure payment of facilities under a waiver and also protection against bankruptcy, i would expect Poly to be noting these movements with fellow mining businesses and they will announce similar machinations along with the auditors. If the 50% movement this morning is anything to go by at POG, we should see something similar in a day or two here.
This share has been a frustrating hold. Organically rising then a drop for zero reason. Sat on cash and occasionally buys another business. If this years dividend is anything like the last at 1.5p a share, at the current pricing, its just over 1%.
At best its a bagger where it is though id have thought by now they would have been swallowed by a bigger fish.
They need to increase returns to shareholdersinstead of sitting on the cash
AS in the results commentary to say "we're very pleased with how AVA6000 is performing...but can't disclose the actual data"
And "ohhhh the LFT antibody strip...forgot about that...that was 3 months ago wasn't it, we've no idea where to source one to be honest, never bought one before"
Yeah l would have thought prudence theory would have kicked in given the circumstances and cash would be retained. No massive biggy given the price rise but would have been a nice one at 7p!!! Lol
I seen it earlier on the board and only bothered to look it up now.
Has anyone seen any company correspondence to indicate a final dividend payment? I maybe missed it in the RNS for yr end 2021 but the company website is not giving up to date info
Timster, not sure Abingdon would progress without a reference to Affidx but that said the RNS re the disruptive antibody strip was 10th January , who knows though if two and a half months is timeframe to fix it.
CO l agree if anything its a sit on your hands and let it do its thing. We cant influence from the sidelines other than to bring our average down but l for one wont put another penny in. Im blue elsewhere which deflects attention from this. Think im about 68% down atm. A year ìs but a short while in AIM
Maybe people are clinging to the hope that after 3 months theyve bothered to fix the LFT for the impending next round of covid...but ....we've been here before and expect no communication from the company to advise they have fixed it, or where they are timeframe wise of fixing it, given theres been zero communication again...
It would be up more than 13%. You can see how unenthused us Avacta LTH are when theres under 50 comments on a double figure rise. Almost an as you were, back to bed.
Pity there isn't an option in the "opinion" box for 'do whatever you want' with an expletive
Hate to be disparaging about a fellow northern irish person but that was like listening to someone who is 6 months into their Citibank career pretending they know everything about nothing...
He's hot on Kodal but knows noùght about a company he's presenting a Youtube video on? ...
