NuuVera TSXV:NUU floated yesterday on the Canadian market. IPO was at $2.50. It hit $6.75 in early trading. Again a tight freefloat with no stock free. These things happen and when you have no free float these things can play out in a way commons sense does not dictate Concha at �150m was not common sense. Gate at �170m was not common sense.

There is no stock. Look at the trades, most of the sells are buys from earlier. There is simply no stock available.

This is being bough for two reasons. 1--The share structure 37m held by the two founders and 13m by others who I presume will be held in the same sticky fashion that the founders. 2--The proposed market is the hottest that there is around. I have witnessed the likes of Concha get a stupid mcap and also Gate Ventures. I am in no way saying this holds a great prospect will do this or that but the mechanics of the structure will likely drive it on.

This smells of a GATE ventures lots of chinese holding and no obvious twitter pump from the pre IPO placees so I reckon it's tightly held.

Good post that one and kind of sums up the situation. Only thing to add is that with Brent @ $67 NPBT is likely to be higher than 3x the current mcap. Not known a company with such a disconnect to its profits.

Grossly undervalued.

Will find themselves here very shortly. LION is a great example and I reckon a lot of that cash will filter through here.

I think 5-6p now. Look at how it moved last time it was free to perform on much weaker fundamentals. 2-6p in about four trading days. Much stronger now though. Could surpass that.

A farmout to a decent operator and the retention of 10/20% of z34 should give us £10m+ on the mcap. Sundagas JV perhaps another £2/3m. Not sure what value exists onshore Peru but if the economics firm up and the tax situations improve perhaps an onshore cash generative asset like that would be worth a decent chunk also.

To a decent operator and its likely 1p+. Downside is c 0.2p in my opinion upside if all three 'events' come in 2p+. So potentially 7x or c30% on the downside. Board have a lot to prove. Lets hope they come to the table. Load up time now rather than at 0.5. AIMHO

I think that's the case. The article was featured late last week but appeared the October issue which went to publication prior to the news.
