Not a great model for fast achieving success as it looks as though Ocados own limited technical resources and spread internationally might be a real handicap. Surely licensing to constructors across the globe is the only answer to this dilemma. Sure they will have thought through this but unclear yet why that would not work. Perhaps once the copyright issues are finally resolved, licensing will be a game changer

But it is a strange RNS that doesn.t begin to discuss the toxity issues. If high doses were deemed to be non toxic, then surely that would be a great piece of news. I can only summise that there is a toxity level withing the normal safety tolerances applicable with ingested medicines. Meaning that higher doses could be more effective but with side issues which may not be medically acceptable. Risk versus cure

No mention as to which organs high doses may be toxic to. Am suspecting Kidneys are the primary organs most at risk - if at all.

Trouble with any takeover or merger is that there remains the risk of what I would call a fraud on the shareholders if the current Board only hold a small number. If the Board agree to sell at a quite low price and advise shareholders that it is a good deal as risk still remains then the only question is what has the Board been promised personally. Could be £millions each in future salaries, bonuses and the inevitable pension plan. Institutional investors would not be fooled by such tactic but how many AIM/Small Cap companies go the way of shareholder fraud.

Looks like the respective lawyers will be the winners. On a more serious note, I do wonder who would be sub contacted in future to manufacture and market the products given that the Cap-xx own production line could not meet a huge huge level of new interest

Sold 50% of my Ocado 2 weeks ago and topped up my Barrick Gold holding. For once I appear to have made the right move as roughly, the Barrick gains (by holding more stock than my Ocado) are compensating for my Ocado losses. Wish I had sold all my Ocados in favour of Barrick but then thats the 20/20 vision of hindsight

Am I correct in that when the Government pulled the plug on Cuadrillas fracking as a Green vote catcher, the Cuadrilla subsidiaey company undertaking the exploration was wound up having list £millions and no reimbursement. Equipment and skilled manpower was redeployed. So how on earth can fracking in Lancashire ever return with that kind of painful loss, and a probability that £millions will be lost when the next Government decides to pull the plug after the first "earthquake" or signs of contaminated sub surface water. Government assurances and contractual public/private partnership might be the only way now but that would take at least 3 years to re-drill, establish pipelines and become a major contributor to the UK economy. Best we now ditch it and rely on oil and gas from Texas and become beholding to the worlds dominating country as opposed to the non world dominating Russia

The gold market has been rising but at a frustratingly low pace. Oil is high and the dollar remains strong despite the forthcoming inflationary based recession. Clearly some substantial interest in holding on to bonds and stocks for the moment as there is hope this "war" will not escalate but a huge bear run may be round the corner. On the counter side, Russia and Russians unable to invest in Gold as banks will not allow purchases over there and Ukrainian buyers off the scene too.

Remember the first succesful trial of Sars patients when many piled in. Highly succesful at 70% BUT - only tested on a small cohort of wholly younger patients who we know (and did then) that thay do not suffer or get better soon as compared to the over 50's. Hey ho, a not very scientific trial by a supposedly professional outfit. Bernie Madoff would be highly envious.
