I'll sell you some for £1.50 a share
fwiw my view is that it will happen but we're taking part in a 10-year marathon, not a one year sprint to some mythical finishing line. Recovery will be much slower than the drop and will take at least 12 months however the long term future remains rosy and we have to focus on the fact that Sprott is an investor, not a gambler and investors are usually in for the long term. The potential here remains fantastic but over a 3/4/5 year timeframe, not a 12 month one.
Everyone will be aware that there is absolutely no catalyst for these shares to start rising again any time soon; no resource upgrade ready in the near term, no improvement in figures so they are free to short the hell out of it . . hang on its going to be a bumpy ride
Good presentation and think that most current PIs will now be tied into the long game. Updated guidance and resource estimates later this year will certainly help but we'll be hobbled by the number of warrants expiring at 85c in July 22. I don't expect to be back at breakeven (currently 25% down) until Q1 2022 but by then maybe a maiden dividend will have been announced?
Yep, I caught a falling knife; bleeding badly now . . .
A poor update, no wonder the sp is tanking!!!
Whizzer, personally I'm not bothered about funding news as long as it arrives before we need the money; ppa news sometime (very) soon would be good though.
I managed a purchase of 83.5K at 3.699
trade went through at £1.08, great value and be rude not to at this price
the problem I guess is finding one with deep enough pockets to be able to fund the 100's of millions needed to develop a new mine. Most will look to buy mothballed mines first that already have most of the infrastructure in place.
almost feels like a concerted effort to depress the price . . . but for what reason; to enable a fairly cheap take-over or to allow instits to get in on the cheap ????
Hi Shiner,
Marlborogh were big buyers early last year and I think got in at around 2.5 / 3p if you check the small cap / nano cap fund prospectuses on their website you should be able to find their current holdings - I'm a little out of date with them now as the contact I had their there has left.
NAI and dyor etc but the right time to get into this stock if you don't mind a little risk - it's another of Sprott's, not listed in the UK but can be bought through HL etc. I'm in but only for £3K atm.

I expect thats the time not the sp
I don't think that information is available due to the number of different projects and differing splits for each - I certainly don't think its ever been published and the board on adv*n uses an 'assumed' prill split to work out the value.
Company home page updated to 0 (zero) weeks left!!
Because that would be tantamount to releasing the news and they aren't really allowed to do that - be patient its only a few days and I'm sure we'll be updated soon.
I'd prefer they left any news regards 1st pour until the 4th anyway as news released either just before Christmas or between Christmas and New Year tends to get a very muted reaction in the share price as traders and many PIs are still on holiday. Let's start the new year with positive news.
Nothing wrong with wanting to eat cake today; life is short and TLOU is a time hoover.
I appreciate he probably doesn't need to complete negotiations until he needs to use the funds (I seem to recall next March) however there would be absolutely nothing wrong with him issuing an operations update and stating that all is on track regards the funding and that he expects it to be completed to schedule (whatever that schedule might be).
At the end of the day, this company is a MILLION MILES away from making any money let alone any profit. I have some sympathy with the BOD in that so much of what they need to achieve is out of their hand and dependent on the decisions made within governmental bodies or bodies influenced by the government of a corrupt, 3rd world country however there is no room for sentiment in investing. This however isn't investing, it is gambling and each of us has to set the price at which we want to take the bet; the bet that some morsel of news will be released to drive the price up, albeit as history shows only for a temporary period of time, but for long enough to allow a sell at a profit. My buy price is 2p. If it doesn't get that low then it doesn't matter, nothing lost but on new 2p could result in a sell at 4p and a 100% profit works for me even if it is risky.
