Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I’m just teasing Webbo, I like you really :)
On a separate note, I’ve been quietly tapping up all of my sources, trying to find out any information about the new candidate for triple negative. Nothing at all has come up yet. Will keep trying.
I leave you guys for a few hours to go out for dinner!
In the meantime…
Rahel has inexplicably changed sides again,
Some of Ells posts and entire threads have been deleted, which probably took webbo’s posts along that thread with them,
DO is trying to find out what Jenny looks like,
OB has tried swinging!
SP stayed the same.
There you go Novice, ha!
Oh and iceman is probably about to create a new Hangover movie on his next trip to Vegas. He sounds fun.
I love this bb…
Novice, I think we need to get a move on, with it being at the end of conker season. Hope there are some still about. Keep us posted on how your kids are progressing in their conker education!
The New forest sounds lovely. I’ll start psyching myself up, as It’s hard for us Welsh to leave ;)
That’s a lovely name. A very happy day today :)
I have to mention a So long, farewell auf wiedersehen to Alb2c3. Been making me laugh for a while now, along with Teamhanz and TDK.
I mentioned the books earlier as Suzy has mentioned the bias towards men in medicine and clinical trials a few times recently now. Giving nods to the new strategy. For me, it’s not all about just the deal for 201 anymore. Suzy seems particularly determined to make this into a very successful company and build it accordingly. Money from the 201 deal needs to be sufficient to enable that. So I just want to put it out there that while I hope it’s a fantastic deal, (and do particularly hope it’s with the big company that everyone is talking about at the moment) if it’s not as big as some may hope then that really isn’t the end of the world. It seems to be just the start of Suzy’s plan.
Hi Jenny! Lovely to have you back :) I trust you are well?
Things seem to be heating up here recently. I have to admit that I was impressed with Suzy yesterday. I was going to make a joke about the use of the the term ambition, but thought I’d leave it to the people on this board who are actually funny. I have to admit, that after enduring a relatively lacklustre year thus far, that my interest has been piqued again recently. I wholeheartedly agree with the angle on women’s medicine, as it’s such an under-explored area. Funnily enough, two friends of mine that are not in the scientific field, have separately mentioned this week that they have been reading “unwell women” and “invisible women”. Both of which I am sure that Suzy is very familiar with. Have you read them? I’m well aware of their content, but not sure as to how well they have been put together, but it does seem to be a topic that is beginning to garner attention.
As I’m sure you will already know, I will steer away from making a prediction. Are you here to stay for a little while? X
