The exciting thing about hold GCM stock is the liquidity problem. 50 million shares as a free float is just not enough for the MMs to create a stable market when there is high demand. I’ve no idea what they would do if a GL announcement came for the first 2000MW Ghazouba / mine on Monday. It would be carnage and auctions every 5 minutes. In fact they would just gap the sp up to where stock was available. I think the whole 6000MW / mine proposal will be put to the GoB as a job lot for maximum effect. The fact that they can do the JDA in a few weeks may be due to a “template” agreement from China Ghazouba being available / a good starting point. 2019 could be a great year.

Hollie, that is big of you. Thank you. It’s only my opinion and everyone invests based on their own summations of the situation and of course things do change, however those are my ramblings. The most exciting thing is that even though we have double the number of shares issued from 10 years ago if we get even 50% ownership of the 6000MW power plants, the combined value with the mine must take us back at least the equivalent place we were as shareholders 10 years ago hopefully better. Everyone should invest based upon their own risk profile and expectations but we are all here to share our thoughts so that we can listen to alternative possibilities.

To waste? No chance. Gcm will draw down what they need every quarter. They may draw down the lot, I don’t begrudge them taking their holding up to the 30% as the co have supported us for over a decade even when Gcm sold their stake in Polo to fund ongoing operations. So if Gcm so gets significantly higher, why would we need to raise funds at 11p if we can raise funds at a much higher price so dilute much less? Maybe at the AGM someone can ask Tang the obvious question. Would they still draw from Polo if they could fundraise at 50p or higher on good news? So if people have been expecting a placing from the City which would have caused a significant drop towards the placing price they have been caught out. Caught out without their trading stock? People couldn’t buy into the close on Friday? Market makers caught too? Tang played a blinder? I think so. I can’t see anything more than up on Monday as we head towards the 31Dec. with the only caveat of Dyani selling down to keep below 30% (over time). If Dyani were still selling surely stock should have been available into the close? Just a thought. They will surely sort the JDA before the holidays? So I’m expecting a nice rise over the next 3 weeks then who knows where into the first half of this year!! Why the Chinese would get involved if they didn’t think they had the required influence? Belt and Road Initiative don’t forget. I bought the first trade on lse on Friday. Small top up but I got the stock. They will surely have to take it up to obtain traders stock in coming weeks to satisfy demand up to the holidays.

I’d imagine there will be interest all the way into March-summer 2019 where we may hear of the GL. What price? Well now our funding shares have gone to a long term holder (Polo) who have never sold a share, just been diluted. If Dyani have to sell shares due to a overhang and need to keep below 30% then that will artificially make stock available which I will gladly keep buying until the overhang is gone. Hopefully this will be sooner than later. Buy the dips.

JohnHenry I think POWERCHINA are fast tracking their approval of the JDA to meet the China Ghezouba application which is end of Feb. Better to offer the full 6000MW as it sounds mouthwatering.

Seems to wanting to announce news with impeccable timing. Nice news of funding even if it isn’t required.

Polo used to be a 29.5% shareholder in Gcm but was diluted out over the years. It seems to me everyone is lining up to hold as many shares as possible. Why is that I wonder lol. The cynics would say Tang has funded GCM at the benefit of Polo. Well you would be correct. I said earlier I’d rather keep it ‘in the family’ rather than allow the city to short us down for a cheap funding which is what was expecting with the drop from 30+p to 11p. Maybe Tang has played a blinder. Allowed a prospective funder to short us down just to pull the deal from under their feet. Now wouldn’t it be nice to think that there is a significant short position open and we’ve been funded for the foreseeable future by a long term holder, one that doesn’t flip the share for a quick profit! I feel it won’t be long before we’ll be raising funds at a much higher price with minimal funds. We’ve a project that will be worth 20-30GBP once in place and generating power. All the vultures will be circling soon.
