Ibmibm ... you state an obvious and common misconception.... buying power is buying power ...the number of shares in issue is irrelevant. More shares in issue, the cheaper they are and so you get more for your money. Less shares in issue, the opposite. Its the money and the percentage of the free float that can control that counts, not the number of shares per se... Eg. A company can have 1000 shares or 10,000. in the latter case each share will be worth one tenth of a share in the former. The same amount of money will therefore buy ten times as many shares in the latter case but will acquire the same percentage of the company. So a given amount of money will move the price by the same percentage regardless of number of shares. Capiche?

Another that is right under the radar because it only really trades on the smaller European country bourses, the main being Warsaw, as it is Polish, is KGHM Polska Miedz SA (KGH). It is targeting producing 600,000 tonnes(!) copper this year and 1300 TONNES(!!) of silver.... It is the second biggest silver producer in the world that no one has heard of! You need an IB account or MEXEM account (which is a European based front for IB) in order to access the markets it is traded on, though. It is up 8.3% so far today ....
