Over on L s e people have been talking about the 'proof of concept' provided by the 2 x pilot projects - for electronics and live stock in 2017/8 - for a total value of Euro 550m.

As the discussion unfolded, it turns out that neither customer renewed or rolled over the facility (hard to understand if it offered genuine benefits)....and there wasn't actually the advertised outlay/funding commitment of Euro 550 m, a poster acknowledged that he'd been told the pilots were actually a dry run of the technology.

AZ's connection with reality seems increasingly tenuous, hopefully the new CFO will temper his enthusiasm.

The silly thing is the more they bash Syme the more I will buy as there is an agenda behind it. Cheaper entry , spread bets, other trade finance companies not wanting this to succeed.

Time to buy some more tomorrow.

The take home point is we don't know. So saying 3 or 4 time net monetisation is a bit of a subtle deramp.

Captive-Funding is gathering financing through a strategic "captive" relationship with a bank. The bank (the "Bank"), located in Europe, is in the process of being acquired by a partnership between the Company's shareholders, The AvantGarde Group S.p.A. ("Co-investor"), and Quadrivio Group and its institutional investment fund "Industry 4.0" (the "Financial Partner").

Client Companies are sourced by Supply@ME, via its commercial agreements, the Bank and potentially the wider network of Quadrivio Group and its Partners.

The Bank will be owned by the Financial Partner and the Co-investor and will be independent of Supply@ME. The Financial Partner has committed to recapitalise the Bank. The Company will not be a shareholder and has no costs relating to the transaction. Supply@ME will, however, be the main beneficiary of the acquisition which will provide funding through the Platform via a "banking as a service" model.

Following this revised funding strategy and taking into account the growth of the portfolio shown below, SH is continuing to roll out its securitisation placing programme as per the RNS of 20 April 2020.

SYME and StormHarbour are currently finalising the details of the securitisation programme which is anticipated to cover, within 12 months and through multi issuances, the whole of SYME's current portfolio of originated inventory contracts.

A further announcement will be made following completion of the placing of the initial issuance, including the amount raised and the sub-portfolio of inventories (and related sectors) that the Platform will commence monetising in favour of its clients.

Well you should have securitisation this month. Its was mentioned in trade update but missed by many.

Unfortunately Az is at the whim of the large funder. They can change their mind at the 12th hour, they don't care about shareholders or Az. They want a profit. I believe Az has been let down by them changing their minds on a number of occasions. Draw backs of one funder. How ever the pros are we don't run out of imoney. Greensill changed a lot of things. Risk aversion being one of them. Hence the portfolio move round from solely Italy to a mixture of countries.

This will come good, just needs time. Syme is only a year abd 1 month old.
