Not so much the reliance on the sector as such more the exposure to key country dependancies to supply the minerals, China have sweeped 90% of Germanium off the table. What is important as you mention is the ability of China to creat wide spread distribution globally through measures like the ban on key exports. The dependency on China for such materials must be a massive risk to many businesses in the field and regardless of the ban they must act in removing such exposure. ROCK have the opportunity to be the unsung saviour here and with their huge untapped Germanium resource. If the EU have any sense they will have this on the radar and take immediate action. It’s not the first time the Chinese have played this hand and now more than ever the world should be prepared for alternative measures. Especially where we have exposure to the east.

IMO this will start tracking very quickly as word starts getting out.
