What we know!
Labour are actively looking to invest in this sector particularly carbon capture and hydrogen storage. Within their manifesto they outline their immediate actions required for meeting future targets. This requires investment and a successful roll out to meet such targets.

As per the Company's 29th May RNS, the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero ("DESNZ") currently plans to open the Allocation Round in Q3 this year. Aka NOW.
With LOSβs from both SGN and SEEL (Sumitumo) UKOG have the backing from two absolute power players to take this forward, perhaps the desnz have already stated comms with UKOGβ¦

A letter of support is vital in the groupβs pursuit of government-funded revenue support, a grant provided to help financially support net-zero ventures such as hydrogen storage projects.
To receive the grant, companies must show proof of support from hydrogen storage users and financial backers.
UK Energy Storage plans to apply for government revenue support for at least one of its hydrogen storage projects, expected to commence in the third quarter after the general election.
SGN and sumitumo are both backing this! SGN are the Uks largest gas network provider, what else do you want to hear, the government are going to be pretty please to have them as backers!
