Implies a lack of belief by potential buyers. Really hope you are right and it reaches 0.2 on approval. In which case I may exit.

To me, the strange thing is that sentiment did not improve when Roland ruled out a placing this year. What will GOI approval take us too? Maybe mid 0.1's ? May have to wait until next year when production starts to ramp up for much more.

Blimey Jack. I really thought you were much younger. Well done to be still working at 73. I thought I was pushing it when I retired at 68. I am now 75. I still enjoyed my job in science but thought I'd stop and leave time for other things. Still miss it in lots of ways.

Hi Jack. One interesting thing is that if Roland made that much out of Star Energy, why on earth is he bothering with Syn, when he could be enjoying retirement?

I have no doubt that CCS has the potential to make large sums at some point but doubt that will be soon enough for most holders and certainly not for someone my age. Likely to be well into the next decade before the profits really materialise. Of course Roland himself is very unlikely to be still involved at that point. As you say, we could hope that a takeover might be a way of realising some value in the more short term.

JPP. In early April 2021 it touched 0.45 on news that Syn's acquisition of gspc's 55% was going ahead. I got out at just over 0.4, only to get back in a few months later. It is now almost 10 years since c77h was drilled. Like the song says " It's been a long time coming". Gla.

Well they haven't done it in 5 weeks if you measure it from the jv rns. That was 5 weeks yesterday. If from when Roland said it in the interview it's 5 weeks on Monday.

I agree that 5 weeks for the GOI would seem pretty miraculous except that being the case why would Roland imply that sort of time scale ?

Trying to keep optimistic. Surely it can't be much longer ? It's now 5 weeks since the jv, so you could argue that it's already stretching it for it to be " a matter of weeks". Surely they must be confident, otherwise they would have borrowed more than just enough to pay off the loan.

At what point does it become indisputably more than just weeks? On the 14th April it would be 2 months, so that would be months not weeks. Surely won't be that long ?
