Yes Espen. Bloody frustrating. To make it worse, last week I looked on Barclays to see if I could set up a trailing stop loss. It was on their info list as a possible order type but when you clicked on choose order type, it wasn't there. Should have rung them. Probably would have set to sell with 20% drop from the peak and got out at about 0.36. Hey ho, let's see what next week brings. Atb.

MrI. Thanks veryuch for your kind thoughts. Unfortunately, and without wishing to seem self pitying, I did the wrong thing. Almost sold at 0.38 and then watched it drift to 0.28. When it rallied a bit near the close, I decided to sell at 0.296, which would have got me over 90% back. That was at 4.20 ish and was the moment when my Barclays account said trade can't be executed please try again. By the time I shut it down and logged in again it was too late.
The really frustrating thing was that this was my ideal sitiation. I always thought that if news came that the deal had gone though but with nothing about finance it would peak on the day and then fall away.
If I can get about 0.29 on Tuesday, I will sell up but have a feeling that don't be possible.

Hi Qs. People keep quoting this bit as it's hugely significant.
"As part of the Transaction, Oilex will benefit through receipt of GSPC's share of the historic cost recovery pool, the total (100%) being approximately US$125 million."
Surely, as discussed previously, this will only benefit Oilex for tax purposes if they make huge profits at some point in the future.

Just reread the rns. No mention of how the financing will work and what they will want in return. They reiterate the benefits of 100%, so does that mean no farm out? If not, what is the plan?

No SPQ. What I was saying was that I held 6.65 million shares which were at that moment worth 0.16p. My average was, and still is 0.32p.
6 million shares may not seem much to some but that more than £20k was massive to me. Atb.

I am guessing that maybe 2.2 million was the minimum price if Oilex is now the only bidder. It may mean the true value is much higher. However if no one else is bidding, what does that mean in terms of securing a farm out? Let's hope it all works out. Hopefully there will be some scenario wd haven't thought of. Gla.
