Nice products for pushing the brand, good Christmas stocking items. The weighted blanket comes at a heavyweight price.
Agreed
Boots website still showing "Stock coming soon" on all the gift range. Disappointing .
The Eve Sleep gift goodies are now available online direct from Eve. Presumably a promotional campaign will be
commenced very shortly. All looks good for Christmas.
Presume Boots will be stocked up now too.
Boots website still showing Stock Awaited. It's now October - time the goods were on the shelf.
Hi wyndrum, I like to think the token purchase might be one that CC can quote in months (years???) to come. I don't think it can be seen as a gesture to support the s.p. ( if it was, then it's hardly done the job today! )
CC has a mountain of share options at extremely attractive exercise prices anyway. But perhaps in time to come she can say " I bought some myself for 4.85p, and what a good investment that turned out to be..."
DYOR !!!
Only a token purchase, but could be making a point.
A few anyway.
In my book a £ net profit is a £ net profit whether it's come from a large or small item. Sure the Hybrid Mattress is the big jewel in the crown, but provided that the ancillary products can be efficiently moved and generate NET profits, whilst bolstering the Eve brand, that's fine by me.
I hope this very successful promotional soft toy makes a (profitable) return before Christmas too.
I see the future value of Eve being its ability to develop the "Sleep" brand into all sorts of associated products which will reinforce the brand message. As such I welcome the venture into the 'gifting' business with Boots Chemist from this autumn, which I am sure will do well. All examples of Eve branding that I have seen are good, and evidence of clear thinking and (lots of) money spent. The new marketing initiative should build on all of this, and also recognise and capitalise on the opportunities which (sadly) Covid-19 lockdowns present.
...but can't see any sign of the gift range on Eve's website. I know they are extremely busy on the mattress/bedding side, but I would have thought a direct route to Christmas gift customers would be profitable.
Just checked out the Boots website to view the Eve gift range on offer. Good ideas, a good market to get into (gifts), excellent presentation and packaging. I can see this range as a perfect 'stocking filler' that will appeal particularly to men searching the shelves in their annual panicked bewilderment before Christmas.
Increasing brand awareness will help sales of bigger items. I think it likely that Next, John Lewis will probably take this range in the future, plus of course Eve already has the foot in the door with Next.
Happy with today's results and I have faith in the new CEO and her team. The gift range to be introduced at Boots ( and others?) sounds good.
"Christmas Eve" is a sales slogan not to be missed............. and so easy to remember!
And of course the old maxim: If you live for 60 years, and get 8 hours sleep each night, then you'll be asleep for 20 years.
So if that's not a good reason to buy a decent mattress...
That's not good, Eve should not be getting merde reviews like that, whilst getting bon reviews in the UK. I hope Eve have gone the extra mile / kilometre to sort out these customers' problems.
Just received my new Eve mattress - ahead of schedule. All looks very good and looking forward to the experience :0)
DFS Furniture Trading Strong As Consumers Increase Spending On Homes. Another good indicator.
The future is secure; I just ordered a Mattress.
