I saw on the Tamboran HotCopper bulletin board that Sheffield had 214,141,921 shares or 15.12% of the voting power before the bad news on the drilling and now has 295,841,267 shares which is 17.35% of the voting power. So when the announcement of the bad news on the drilling came down he bought another 81.6 million shares? I assume he knows what he is doing and I don't feel too bad about my investment now. He knows the business and the geology probably better than most. Be interesting to hear what he says at the Energy Club. I didn't sell and I'm standing pat for now. Hopefully we hear something on the skin and the spud on August 1.

The capital raise was split into a $52 million placement, a $13 million convertible note to US onshore drilling giant Helmerich & Payne Inc and a $5 million share purchase plan. H&P is Tamboran’s fifth-largest shareholder.

The placement was priced at 18¢ a share, a 10 per cent discount to Tamboran’s last close. Tamboran’s existing shareholder Bryan Sheffield, via Sheffield Holdings LP, had committed to taking up $14.7 million of the placement

The US exchange is up 22% on 1.4 million shares traded. I feel a little better this am.

This shows why you pay big bucks to your PR agency. They can put a good spin on anything.

Releasing bad news or documents on a Friday afternoon in an attempt to avoid media scrutiny is often called a “Friday news dump” by members of the media. Although Netflix did it best on a Friday afternoon before a 3 day weekend.

When I look at this latest image and zoom in -- I see the hottest area would be the dark red center and the lighter areas would flare out to a lighter color. Taking that into consideration I see the bulk of the lighter area is flared out more towards the center of the camp -- which makes me believe there is wind blowing the fire more towards the upper and left side of the camp. So my opinion is that we don't know what is happening on the ground and we should be happy there is a pretty good flare going on.

Yep you are either in it or got out a long time ago and are waiting to see if you need to get back in. LOL I'm one who bought when it was up several dollars a share. Truthfully I can't remember that far back as I would sell for losses each tax year. So while we are waiting -- lets play a little game -- what is the highest price you bought it add -- and what is your average share value now? I think I bought at $5 to $6 dollars a share when it was Hungary and now my average share is 12 cents. What are your numbers? I also wonder why they have the Annual meeting in June -- when they normally hold it much later ? Any rumors?

I suggest everyone be a little more civil on the board these days. Tempers seem to be getting short as we all have way too much invested in the stock and we just need to wait it out and see what happens -- Again.
