Well we should know something by June. LOL
18 April 2023 - Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSXV: FO, AIM: FOG,) (“Falcon”) announces that its Annual General and Special Shareholder meeting will be held at the Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2, Ireland on 22 June 2023 at 11:00 a.m. (Dublin time).
Full details of the press release can be found on our main website homepage, under the Investor Centre section selecting Press Releases or clicking on the following link -> Annual General & Special Shareholder meeting.
Kind Regards,
Falcon.
I suggest everyone be a little more civil on the board these days. Tempers seem to be getting short as we all have way too much invested in the stock and we just need to wait it out and see what happens -- Again.
"After completing the stimulation, we expect a four-week flow back of stimulation fluid before installation of production tubing. We expect to announce the 30-day initial production rates early in the second quarter of calendar year 2023."
So anything until the end of May is probably no cause for alarm. Yes I do expect them to say we fracked -- but does that tell us anything - not really.
Hey folks I see the orange spot that Newtofo is referring to and in looking at
https://www.fractracker.org/resources/oil-and-gas-101/explore/
I wonder if ITEM 5 COMPLETIONS & HYDRAULIC FRACTURING you can scroll through the images and I think they are:
Liquid Storage Frack Tanks
Shown here are liquid storage frac tanks, also called 500 barrel (bar) wheelies Capacity: 500 bar/tank x 42 gal/bar = 21,000 gal/tank 13 tanks x 21,000 gal = 273,000 gal of water or liquids
Looks like the same color of orange in the satellite photo and is in the upper quadrant of the lower square and also in the middle of the second square closer to the highway.
Not an oil man so just looking at layouts of frac sites.
Hey Newtofo -- Hope you have a great 2023! If you have a great one -- so will the rest of us! LOL
Seriously -- FSU won the bowl game last night -- and the universe is starting to finally align for drilling in the Beetaloo.
Be safe, stay healthy -- and wish you well.
Cenkos Dec 23 update for Amungee 2 well update headline was POISED FOR TAKEOFF.
The U.S. price is up 9.17% now.
Hopefully 2023 is a very good year for us all. Always wanted to go to Ireland. LOL
Hope everyone has a great Christmas and a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!
From the Press Release
EP 98 Operational Update: Amungee 2H drilled ahead of budget and schedule
The Amungee 2H (A2H) in EP 98 was successfully drilled to a total depth (TD) of 3,883 metres,
including a 1,275-metre horizontal section, which was placed in the most prospective zone within
the Mid-Velkerri “B Shale” formation. The well encountered significant gas shows within the MidVelkerri “B Shale” formation, in line with pre-drill expectations.
• The A2H well has been drilled and cased with 5-½ inch casing, the optimal casing size to place a
high intensity stimulation and on par with modern US unconventional drilling designs.
• The well was drilled in 38 days (spud to TD) at a total cost of $14.1 million (excluding casing and
cementing), slightly ahead of pre-drill design days and budget.
• Tamboran is planning up to 24 stimulation stages within the Mid-Velkerri “B Shale”, expected to
commence during the first quarter of calendar year 2023, subject to weather conditions.
• Tamboran is fully funding the drilling, stimulation and flow testing of the A2H well, in accordance
with the Stage 3 farm-in agreement (FIA) between Tamboran and Falcon Oil & Gas Australia
Limited (Falcon).
• A comprehensive review of all data across the recently acquired acreage is currently underway.
Once finalised, the location of the second and final well of FIA will be selected.
Tamboran Resources Limited (ASX: TBN) Managing Director and CEO, Joel Riddle, said:
“We are pleased to have drilled and cased the A2H well ahead of budget and schedule. The well intersected
the Mid-Velkerri ‘B Shale’ at 2,413 metres vertical depth, in line with pre-drill expectation. The well was
drilled with a 1,275-metre horizontal section, which is planned to be stimulated with up to 24 stages during
the first quarter of calendar year 2023, subject to weather conditions.
“The key objective of drilling, stimulating and flow testing the A2H well over the 1,275-metre horizontal
section is to determine the gas deliverability of the Mid-Velkerri ‘B Shale’ in the deeper regions of the
Beetaloo Basin. Importantly, the well was completed with 5-½ inch casing, on par with modern US
unconventional drilling designs.

Their problems may actually put a little more emphasis on our project to move forward.
Loved this comment in the article:
Ireland-based Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd., which holds 22.5% interest in Origin’s Beetaloo blocks, waived first dibs on the Origin buyout, letting it go to Tamboran and Sheffield instead.
The pass sounds smartly like what one might say if a couple of Warren Buffett’s want to turn your unimproved property into multibilliondollar real estate for you: “Sure. Go ahead.”
I don't know what the future will bring. But when someone invests a $110 million to acquire something, I assume they know the Beetaloo is going to pay something out in the long run. We may not get the millions we all wanted but I hope to make a couple hundred thousand with my shares. Been in this for a long, long time. Just need a couple of wells to give us some good flow rates.
longknife,
Yep was at the FSU Clemson game, they fought to the end, but at least it wasn't a blow out. They hit the easy part of the schedule now. In the three years I went to school there, never saw them win a game. They were really bad then. LOL
Well when the 90 day average is 320K and we have had two days of 600K buys in less than an hours time, someone(s) thinks it may be worth accumulating. May not be the millions we are all hoping for but I think as the drilling starts back up we will see more attention.
So the Origin/Tamboran deal was announced on Sept 20/ Sept 19 for us in the US. So we are about 10 days in with 20 days to go -- is that about right? So either buy up more hoping for a coup attempt by FOG or stand pat? Im telling you the bourbon, scotch, irish whiskey distillers must be making a fortune in this stock market. LOL Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Im standing pat, even if it just goes to TBN, then I think you would be bought out at a much higher price than it is trading now if that is their intent. Too many people anxious. I think .20 would be the minimum and if TBN has to do these next two wells and they prove out -- we may all get gobbled up by someone at a much higher price.
So on the U.S exchange about 4.5 million shares traded and only down 1.68% now. I think some folks are buying in. Was trading at .076 US and now back up to .10. Should be an interesting 30 days for our options and the drilling.
So I read this a couple of times and was just wondering a few things:
1. Posters were upset on the board after the last FOG meeting when Tom Layman from the board suggested we weren't going to sell and were going to move more towards production
-- so did we know about Tamboran's takeover attempt then?
-- are we only trying to raise funds so we can become more of an equal JV for exploration?
-- Why didn't Sheffield make the pitch with FOG to get 100%?
-- Is there a deal to merge FOG and Tamboran in the future?
-- I like the fact that our profits don't come with another 5% royalty fee.
2. We were upset with Origin -- since they were moving so slow
-- so why aren't we excited about Tamboran moving fast and we are aligned with them now.
-- we still have our 22.5% so we should be excited about it
-- for a mere 60 million (sorry I don't have it -- but sure someone else does -- you get 100% so there may be another alignment in the next 30 days)
-- Falcon is pretty quiet right now - so hopefully they are pretty busy behind closed doors. Can anyone see the lights on at night back there.
3. Tamboran went down 19% Falcon dropped like a rock today and now is only down 11% now
-- I would have thought Tamboran would have shot up like a rocket
-- So are FOG investors not waiting to see what happens? Figure if it is even a buyout in the near future it will be higher than it has been this past couple of weeks.
Looks like a lot of folks are running scared. I'm not buying more, but holding pat, so we shall see.
Hopefully Tamboran drills the next two wells correctly and we get some decent results here in October.
Good luck to everyone and invest in bourbon, scotch or Irish Whiskey they may shoot up shortly.
