The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I am a stratex shareholder and debating whether to have a punt here. With a market cap of just over a million and not many shares in issue if mineralisation is identified there could be quite easily a good bounce in the share price. Stratex must have faith of increasing the resource to buy 33% of the company.
I have been proper shafted by BAO (Baobab resources) by them selling out at 6p a share to one of their main investors and the directors lying to shareholders. I just hope that not all AIM shares are the same and my investment here that I have huge hopes for doesn't get bought out on the cheap.

Yes great news, high grade again. An uplift must come soon, in the mean time I will continue to add at this unbelievable low share price. This now makes up over 75% of my portfolio value. Got everything crossed that this will pay off for my retirement. Hope we are bought out by Teck for multiples of our market cap or go into production.
Really sad to see it in this state, had so much promise. Remember the days when it went from 0.40p to 8p+. Unfortunately only had a small stake. Also remember Erlan targeting a market cap of £700 mill.
I think we are valued at around 1c pp of Ni so would be happy with an offer of 5-7c pp of Ni which would be around a share price of 16p-21p ish. As as Jeremy said in one of his interviews at Bankable feasibility stage most companies get bought at 15-18c pp of Ni which would be a share price of around 45p-54p ish. The same as our broker thinks we are worth. That would make me very happy.
Another drop in the share price today. Just been listening to the mining mavern interview from September. Jeremy said in the next six months he will be trying to get the message out there, haven't heard much yet 3 months along. Nickel prices have risen and predicted to rise but we are valued at around half a cent per pound in the ground with a market cap of around £12 Mill. We have the backing of a major global player being Teck, and as Chazzy2 says post BFS which is around a year away we should be trading at 8-15 cents per pound in the ground. Hopefully in 2015 we will see a correction in the share price, in the mean time this has to be an unbelievable bargain price. Just wish I was a first time buyer now.
