Just my thoughts…we have to remember the Australian government and mining department had to agreed to the takeover between Newcrest and Newmont and the problem child was always going to be Telfer and the Government Would have needed detailed plans about its future . Newmont saying they just planed to divest Telfer was never going to to acceptable..remember Greatland’s mega board of directors Billionaire backers scalable finance future Aussie listing .. billion dollar deals don’t happen overnight but take many years .

Thank’s for posting good news. .Today l took a look at Reddit and other chat boards , apparently quite a number of stock and etf accounts held a one of the many custodian banks HSBC use where unable to release funds for dividend payments due to as you say admin Errors. One poster stated as not receiving a £4,000 plus dive payment before Christmas from a word wide dividend etf ..now that would spoil you Christmas. I had visions visions of a very plump Free range turkey walking around a field somewhere, still wiping the sweat of his forehead after a lucky escape.

I’m a long-term HSBC Shareholder but not for much longer what a shambles the app & online goes down on one of the busiest online shopping days of the year and it now appears there unable to process dividend on or even near the stated payment dates l now have 3 income & dividend payments delayed and Who wants to spend 20 minutes trying to speak to someone ..in lndia. Again outsourcing not working well for customer or investors

The same problem had occurred earlier this year with another of my share holding l receive the payment 5 weeks late. And again HSBC stated that they hadn’t received the payment 😏HUM.
