Lots pending though. JORC, License, step out drilling, CLP soil samples, Senegal deal, Turkey deal …. all unrelated and all could double the MCAP if positive. Multiple positive updates could rocket this over 1p.

Gold is a hedge against turmoil however it’s liquidated quickly when margins call on other investments, hence it falls with markets during the initial phase of crashes. It rises shortly after. It’s a classic easy gain, assuming you retain cash for such events.
