Is Hummingbird after one day’s production worth more than yesterday?

Gold has a long way to fall before it stops Hummingbird being a cash cow.
World banks printing money suggest gold could rise much further.
Property is not a bad bet but could we see unemployment and repossessions?

I can understand your frustration, my average is quite a bit higher than your 26p.
Why the SP languished is frustrating. The fundamentals demand a rerate. We are expecting good news in the near future. I would hate to be out when the good time rolls.

I have a couple of Santander 123 accounts.
They were attractive but now they have dropped back from 3% to 0.6% having increased monthly charge upto £5 a month on each account. This means no interest on first £10000 held to cover charges and a miserable 0.6% on the next £10000 nothing above £20000. Negative interest rates on the radar.
People may have noticed that I am a Hummingbird fan.
I weigh up what is safer than gold, I also see no future in a risky bank account.
If and imho when we have £1 party, if you sell, where do you invest it better than PMs.

So that would mean you get less cash back from your bank than you put in.
This of course assumes your bank is still there and answering the phone.
I bought a flight to USA with Virgin Atlantic with an HSBC credit card.
8 weeks later ,long waits on unanswered phones and no refund yet as law demands.
You wonder if banks went, how much cash would actually be repaid, or would they not answer the phone.
No wonder people want the safe haven of gold.
