RE: 10days to the next chapter17 May 2020 14:30
I don’t like saying this but I am afraid that this pandemic has changed the world.
The common cold virus changes and we give flu jabs based on latest outbreaks from Asia and Australia each year. We never got a vaccine for Aids. Before aids a dentist in USA killed twelve patients passing his Aids, this changed dentistry, now all dentists wear masks and gloves.
Maybe when we go out for a meal, masks, gloves and two metres will become normal.
Anything which holds it’s value will be doing good, Negative interest rates will only devalue cash.
Placing cash into shares which may take years to recover, or at worse go bust is imho risky.
Precious metals are the safest, tested over thousands of years. Gold is the standard and large countries are buying.
Gold has every chance of rising big time.
Hummingbird will fly, don’t know where, don’t know when.
If this happens, the £1 party will not be the last.
