The true value today may well be 10p but this was not an investment for today.
Some investment was for the long term and some was because they liked the message.
Many shares now purchased cannot be held in ISAs or pension funds, they cannot be transferred.
It is theft at 6p and ethically wrong.
If funding for growth is required, what stops the future private investors from buying more shares as the company issues them.
Shame on you.

What I really find disturbing , although of course cash matters, is the fact that private investors in this company, backed the cause.
We agreed that killing animals was cruel, slitting throats needlessly.
Reducing land required to feed annimals etc.etc.
The company pretends to care and then ruthlessly cuts the throats of their loyal supporters, and sends out the clear message that they care about themselves, not the planet.
Any decent board member should resist this move.
Their actions have a negative action on their supposed goals.

Historically, it always happens, followed by smaller mines. The small mines make the biggest gains. Good to see Hummingbird at the fore.
Same thing with silver, follows gold.

I like precious metals , hard to understand why Solgold SP has not risen with record gold prices.

I heard the same debate three years ago.
Gold was trading about $1200! SP 39p.
If ever there was need to pay a dividend before we get devoured.
The rerate when we get a dividend could be a large one.

I think your all in cost is too high. Virus puts costs up but oil has been cheap.
Or maybe we are counting the cost of the landing strip so the SP can take off.

I am not too bothered about that , that shall remain nameless, although there must have been a very good reason to do it. Chances are it will be another great bit of business.
The reasons for a dividend are not only to reward PIs, it attracts IIs and it gives credibility to the company. So many shares on AIM’s end up shafting PIs that a dividend would make it more trustworthy. The company have written to me and assured me they will put their dividend position in writing . Hummingbird deliver, so I am pleased with that.
I think that Q2 will confirm our production and the RNS will answer a few questions, maybe an RNS
before who knows.
As gold continues to rise, it is only a matter of time before we test 39p again. Imho

You may well be right Joe but my shares are not for sale.
Jim Mellon maybe shrewd but sooner or later you can screw the market too many times.
This could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
I would never go near again.

We are making so much cash, extra cash because of gold rising, it is a good reason to ask Hummingbird for a dividend.
If the dividend attracts more IIs the SP will not stay in the 30s for a long time.imho

RNS says it is a consultation.
It is pretty clear that shareholders believe this is not in their interest.
The board should see this and take steps to repair the damage done.
It may need some new faces on the board.

Well our costs are about half that as we come to the end of Q2.
Should be enough for a dividend.
