Eurocarparts is a really good website for cheap car parts.I never trust vauxhall or ford dealers,I suspect the rest are just as bad always giving "free" health checks claiming you need around 800 pounds worth of work done.I had a cambelt changed on a mondeo they botched it up and then claimed there"might" be a problem with the headlights having a yellow tint,it was a feature of the model that year for goodness sake.vauxhall claimed I needed four new discs and two tyres,2 months later I took it to my regular garage and it sailed through the mot,ok a pricey mot at around 60 quid but at least always honest and straight,I asked if any issues I might need to keep an eye out for with tyres or discs and they said none whatsoever.My opinion is main dealer garages are rip offs

Yep I remember redex ,ive had my fair share of 8valve cars what a nightmare they used to be compared to modern day 16v cars.Nowadays I think German cars are over rated still living off their reputation for greater reliability with 8v.

Your right it isnt always cost effective in fact it can be expensive but at the end of the day I go with my instincts and day trading isnt always profitable as this has demonstrated.
