So, having read the RNS, what incentive is there for the BoD to request an extension?
It seems we are better off without one, that way E must realistically withdraw.

I'm as keen as any to see a big offer come in, but I would prefer to hear it by RNS than from the rumour mill.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by allowing this take over to proceed. Yes, a single mine is risky and susceptible to periods of poor production, but in this case we would become the cash cow and have to provide for the E shareholders.
Not doubt the dividend would be much lower, if not disappear.
If Rutherford has been brought in to 'Get Endeavor Done', he needs to be sent a message from the PI's that it is not on!
