...a bit doubtful of the event on the 2oth April.
They've probably got the date wrong or forgotten to book the room!
...use the mantra...
'Get It Right First Time' !
...didn't think I'd be able to buy at 38p again, but there it is.
Might raid the kids piggy bank!
Sorry Wolster, I was speaking historically and generally.
LTH's will understand what I mean.
...as I am with today's confirmation of first gas, I am hardly surprised by the markets reaction.
It seems that whenever the slightest whiff of bad news appears, the SP tanks, then takes a while to recover, no matter how good the news!
Logic would dictate that any company that had started producing a much sought after and highly valued commodity, would see a fair increase when the news was announced. Not at IOG!
I have no clue as to why this is, but it is. Seems we have to live with it.
What's to worry about?
The worst that can happen is that they sell the shares.
Oh, maybe nobody will want them.
Disaster!
I stand corrected, but...
I suppose the big question is:
If RG sold circa 10m shares, who bought them and at what price?
I suppose the big question is:
If RG sold circa 23m shares, who bought them and at what price?
Backgassing is a basic step to 'Prime' the system prior to starting the flow from the well. Any issues would be identified and corrected and, all being in order, the flow would be reversed and gas will flow to Bacton.
Most process industries use backfilling as a way to prime systems and it is carried out day in day out. Of course there can be issues, but they have generally been ironed out already. Any leaks, pump failures or faulty valves would have been identified by now and dealt with.
Think of it as a plumber refilling your central heating system.
Wolster:
You should know by now that IOG 'estimates' are just that and have been missed on many occasions over the years.
However, with the bad luck we've endured on this project, let's all keep our fingers crossed for a positive run up to first gas by Friday PM.
...max £1000 per deal!
... we'll see the hordes descend on Monday, especially if we get good press over the weekend.
As much as I would welcome more interest (and buying), I hope we do not attract the hysterical rampers / derampers that usually appear on these occasions. Why, some of them can hardly spell!
Let's hope the board stays civilised.
£1 by Christmas!
...yet another slip in the timeline!
Hope it's a good RNS when it comes, I've just topped up with the last of my free cash!
I can agree with the sentiment.
Impossible to trade properly today on HL. Parcels of 1000, usually less, and constant auctions. Unable to sell high and always NT.
Not sure why this is, but it is very poor!
