Managed to pick up a few shares at £1.24 as I can see this going up later/tomorrow after Boris resigns in his press conference later
Good buying opportunity coming this week when back to £1?
I think that it is obvious now that pubs are not being closed to stop the spread of covid but to stop people ending up in our over crowded hospitals following drunken fights/accidents. The government cannot admit this as it reflects badly on them. Long term this is still a good hold but I can see a gentle slide back to £9
£1:15 by the end of the week? If so may top up
Will level off at £1
More pressure building on M&S to repay rating relief.i cannot see them getting out of this. Expect big hit to profits this year as people either boycott them or they are forced to repay the rates relief
Can see a bit of a fall on Monday as M&S under pressure to return rates relief for 2020. Will have a big impact on profits
Although it is sad to see Debenhams disappearing from the High St, long term this will mean more money for M&S.
Thanks for the link
Trying to find out how exposed Hammersons are to the collapse of Arcadia But cannot find any info on website. Anyone know?
Surprised that this is not back to £9. You are looking at an extended closure period here of 5+ months over the busiest time of year. Can see another rights issue being required
Can see 30p by year end and 50p by end of 2022 as things can only improve from where we are
DT will make a bid as soon as Brexit deal is settled. Likely to be around £1.50 a share which is an absolute bargain. I would be against a full buy out at this price
I wonder if there is more to the recent increase than market sentiment. Would not be surprised if a private equity bid comes in to get the property assets and possibly split the company into food and clothing?
Sold out last week at 15% profit as I can see the lockdown of pubs being extended until the New Year. Still a good long term play but @£10 a share, looking a bit toppy
Just love the fact that Tom did his usual decamp at 11:41 and within a couple of hours the shares were up 7.5%! I am gutted that I sold half my holding at 10:30 but still have skin in the game. Will be interesting to see where these finish this week
Decided to sell half my holding at 80p today having bought in at 62p. Would like to think that it is just a sensible de-risking exercise as still invested but wonder if psychologically Tom has influenced my ability to be rational? Still think that we will get to £1 but happy to take profit on half at this stage
Tom has been a bit quite for the last few days. Do you think that his mum has taken away his computer for being a naughty boy?
Come on let’s break the 75p mark. When we go above 80p we can all laugh at Tom cat
A fool and his (borrowed) money are soon parted
