We have waited for 20 months since last Drill stopped turning, and I hope the BOD are under no illusions about the collaboration with Noble being no more than an exercise to help each other find and POSSIBLY share a Rig as soon as possible.
Not a situation where we as shareholders of HE1, the larger capitalised and field ready company, are expected to sit and twiddle our thumbs waiting for Noble to succeed or otherwise in a Farm-out Deal before we can move forward!
We need to be aggressive in this, get the Rig, and do a deal with the Rig provider that, Noble, as and when they have finances ready, will share some of the costs of the Mobilisation, Transport and Supplies. If they don't get the finances, then we just have to get on with it and stump up our cash for our Drill in Jul/Aug!

So, HappyDazes, I don't agree we are tied to Nobles emergent plan, and pray that is how the BOD are tackling this, and not waiting for Noble !

I have a hunch we may get an RNS next Wednesday 29th March, fully 2 years after we announced the Mitchell Rig Contract.
It would neatly close off Q1, and set us up for a busy Q2 preparation programme, ready for the big Spud in July/Aug
We need to get this show on the road, Lorna!

Just seems strange they have not used any of the rollout of possible funding routes to promote the our project thus far!

The strange thing here is that you guys have done the research and are flagging up these opportunities/possibilities, but there has never been anything on HE1 twitter or newsletters to suggest that they are aware of, and have done the research on them as possible revenue sources, or have I missed that ?
Would be good to get something from them acknowledging the possibilities!

6.35/6.40 is now the support level, and I would expect to see the 7p breached end of this week or early next week, as we only have 3 weeks till Q2 appears on the horizon. I think there will be a major RNS before the month is out!

Would we as a non-EU Business, not even registered in the UK, but in the VI, be eligible for this investment pot ?
It appears to me to be for EU registered businesses or African based and registered companies or Govt. Departments involved in this area ?
Would be good to know we might qualify for funding, but I have my doubts!

Just looked at the Twitter account, and I quite like the last post announcing the RNS of Collaboration with Noble yesterday, with the picture of the blank Jigsaw with the word Solution stamped across it and the last piece of the Jigsaw being fitted into place! Quite cheeky that, in a confident way. Let us just hope it is the last piece!

On a serious note, I feel that is why they are close to announcing further Rig news, as Ian Stalker categorically stated that the Directors would buy more shares, at the AGM last week, and if there was nothing in the pipeline near-term, then they would have been able to purchase at the current favourable SP, but as they haven't made a move, may it be they are in possession of that sensitive info right now ?

And as a final point, I noticed a guy in the shopping mall yesterday wearing a tee-shirt with Helium One on it, and as I walked passed him, it said £5 on the back! Think it must have been Trek ? He was busking with a mouth-organ and banging a foot drum. I went back and put a fiver in his cloth cap and gave him a party balloon.

The letter of Authority from the Kenyan Revenue Authority was dated the 27th January - Cluff got it 7th February
It would require an export licence and supporting docs to allow the Rig to move, and this will most likely be a couple of months minimum to apply for, be scrutinised, approved by customs dept. and then signed of by relevant Government Minister or acting Officer, after payment of any fees due. So late March for me, would be the earliest, that you could definitively say the Rig was free and ready to load and transport to the Border!

Hope the stall is not because Duncan or Alex have reneged on their loan promises?
