Will take many months in the planning both logistically and contractually!
Many disputes over timescales of each Project planned! Who gets it First/When?
Many disputes over Breakages and Repair Cost allocation! If it breaks down first day on a new site is the previous site responsible?
Fallouts over Weather conditions impacting the sharing of the Drill!
Possible variation in Crews using un-familiar Equipment = less care and attention!

States rig had no work in 2021 or 2022 accounting years, and market is very slow.

HE1 is a company full of good licences, science, geology and geologists, and I feel good people in general, but what it is not is a company with hard commercial contract experience in a global environment.
This may just have toughened them up into realising you need highly experienced, global agents to broker and execute Rig and Equipment deals in this very competitive world.

I have again looked at the past record and achievements of Mike Williams and Midak Engineering, and there is not a lot to get me in the least excited. Midaks accounts (commencing in 2018), make mine look busy, and I'm retired, for god sake! Mike on twitter has very little to show other than re-tweets from HE1 over the last couple of years. Left his LinkedIn alone.
May well be a great Guy, but I have my doubts as to whether this is the Drilling Superintendent we need at this juncture.

We obviously had costings on the Rig from Exalo for the Drill(s) in Q1, so if we start on that basis, and include in the additional £2.5m gathered in from the raise, we should be in a strong position to go and do a deal to bring in a top Rig Provider at a premium, not a cheapskate deal to preserve cash as previously done. This Spud needs to happen ASAP
I've said before, there are Rigs available, especially in the US, and we need to go out and do the Business!
I think that is what is going to happen now.

They are still talking to Exalo which is a mighty different situation from not talking to them! If Exalo don't have another Rig available to action, they are in a much stronger position to cross-hire a rig from another big company than HE1 to do a deal, or at least facilitate things to improve HE1's chances of contracting a rig from another provider.
He mentioned no news in the next couple of weeks, not Months as he might have said!
No Spud Q1, but the pressure of having to look competent to the new holders who stumped up for the Raise, will chase things along quite quickly. Think this will only put things back a couple of months.

I got in here early 2021 on the basis of Ian Stalker's track record, and thought he would get this to a timely successful discovery!
Lorna is the only person I have 100% confidence in now in the HE1 set-up!

What we need here is an RNS tomorrow confirming that they have hired the released Drill Crew from the Exalo Rig till end of June, they have signed a Contract with Baker Hughes to supply the tools and equipment in the LOI, for the same timescale, and give Dai and Me a couple of million dollars, and we will go and get them a fooking Rig in America put on a container ship for Dar Es Salem for end of next week! We know where they all are, don't we Dai?

Being serious about the Drill Crew and BH, as if we do nothing now, this project will just fizzle out!

The only appointment made since March 2021 worth the investment, has been Lorna Blaise, who knows what she is on about, and has done her job properly.

The drill was used to ream the existing borehole, especially at the sidetrack junction. This effectively makes the sidewall of the borehole smoother, to improve the chances of a good route down, and less chance of snagging for logging tools. It was stated on the 19th that it would take 2-4 days to do the reaming and wire logging, hopefully now done, so presuming the results will be announced on 29th or earlier.
Anyway, that should give the go ahead for Exalo and HE1 to exchange Contracts possibly next week, and then it's onto the set-up for Spud!
