South Africa Plans Request for Proposals on Storage (Feb. 14, 12:32 p.m.)

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy will issue a request for proposals for 513 megawatts of battery storage by the end of the month, Energy Minister Gwede Mantashe said in a speech to lawmakers.

Good rational comments this morning, not sure I would trust them again to do their own trial, I think they took their eye off the ball and assumed they would succeed due to 15 years of safety data.

Flabbergasted, feels like we are getting right royally shafted after the money they spunked on the trial!

As the company are in a state of limbo ref the Covid trials, has work been restarted with regards to COPD?

Very impressive considered post The_Palladin, we waited for 6 weeks and all we got was a less than impressive staged interview. Due to the results of the last trial I would vote against RM leading us into another, even if it is free, too much at stake now to risk another 'horlicks' with our wonder product. RM is a very expensive liability.

@BenAlder, with all due respect DD keeps it real, all we have to go on is past performance. I've been here 10 years now and willing to hold, but the time it takes to progress things with this company is excruciatingly slow, the Vametco mini grid being a good example.

I think Polygon may have a different opinion, which will influence the direction of this company from now on. RM knows he's ****ed up massively and will have to come up with revenues IMO, he can't hide for too much longer.

I was going to add to this thread this morning, both me and the Mrs are 53, fully vaxed and are just beginning to feel better on day 11 after having covid. Both of us still have a hacking cough, airways are alot more sensitive than normal, there's loads of it about, it's just not being reported.

Thanks Axe, that did make me chuckle. I'm posting for the first time since results and I'm genuinely perplexed how we have got to this position after all the time and money spent on this trial. I really can't see how someone hasn't been negligent in their position allowing this to happen. I don't see the company being taken seriously or having any credibility left after that howler of an RNS.

I wonder whos had a bet on this dropping 85% today, this shares been manipulated for over 12 months now.
