Only need one strap as well for the three stooges, that’s the beauty of split personalities ;-)
I’m aware you need to leave some profit behind for the new owner to be interested, so at $2000 for Pd, those 40M Oz of PGM am have to fetch billions, even at 5% of resource value.
So it’s fair to assume at some point there will be another RNS, (that isn’t a price monitoring one)
None of us get any actual say in what it will say, doesn’t stop us thinking what we’d like it to say...
I’d vote for “with regard to our Monchetundra asset and associated flanks, pleased to announce after 3 private rounds of bidding, we have an offer of $2.2bn from CITIC Metal, and also an offer of $2.3bn from Norilsk. We have given them until 31st Jan 2020 to submit best and final bids.”
Love a good bidding war..
40... gmf78
Might be linked to when I speculated a bidding war could lead to £3 a share buy out from Chinese firm...didn’t say it would be before Xmas so not a blatant ramp ;-)
Enjoy your weekends all who are invested. Enjoy your weekend all who aren’t, but find some pennies to join the party, next RNS will be a good one...
I’d suggest as well that when initial negotiations took place in Sept/Oct and Pd was around $1500 approx, whatever pricing they had in mind has to of moved up by 20-30% at least in EUAs camp, but the buyer(s) won’t want that. Can see that extending the sale somewhat as the deal gets revalued, maybe repeatedly.
SA has come at the right time for EUA too, a perfect storm. Just means we have to be more patient to benefit from the best deal possible (I hope)
In the meantime, day traders and overly optimistic types (sold in a week etc) will have moved on to some UK shares no doubt, they’ll be back when EUA is the next hot ticket again.
55p with a 10% retained share in future flanks, but because I’ve just took another 270k shares the SP will prob nose dive into weekend, before coming good next week as we get our reward for being patient ;-)
v2 much better... set your opinion to strong buy as well - the rampers badge of honour apparently...
Can see this breaking 3's today, after that strap on the palladium rocket for a clear flight to 4.5, wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend...
i'm rubbish at ramping as well, prefer the dull facts of an RNS or two to chew on, alongside a bit of hearsay of course.
greyhounds Lager - look for the dog having a crap in the corner just before race starts, lighter loads win more races. Bloke in pub told me once...
Sounds like your one needed to go mid-race ;-)
Could do with a cheeky RNS to lift discussion back to making money on EUA, doesn't Santa need some palladium to upgrade his sleigh this year?!
Feel free to ignore our message that only having one share doesn’t mean putting everything in. I know you live solely for this BB but there is a big world out there with lots of types of investments, not just shares in AIM listed companies. I had to unfilter to see why green boxes had infested, bit of a shame it was the same negativity, back into filter land eh
Ian and others - spot on. We invest what we can afford to lose and don’t need judgement from anyone, after all it is only ourselves that benefit/lose from our actions
and where did Lagershandy say anything about chucking 'everything' into one share then??
"this is the only share I hold and I'm all in"
None of us know the full picture for anybody on here, they could have £200k in houses they rent out, £25k in a cash ISA, and they've put £10k on EUA as a punt, the only share they own as it would be life changing if it pays out 40x . Equally they might have nothing but a pot to p*ss in, and it is totally their right to invest how they see fit without judgement from others.
Always quick to judge the actions of others, without pausing to think...
Last week or two, they seem content to leave it in the 2.50-2.80 range, bubbling along and removing day traders from the equation. How much longer people wait for an update will dictate a lot.
For me it all depends on how they communicate - if they set a date via RNS for negotiations to end (either good or bad), you'd expect a steady rise in advance of news that would allow some folk to topslice.
If the next RNS comes along saying its an offer for MT at £x, then all hell breaks loose in a few minutes. That is why so many will be hanging on, the 'fear' of not being invested vs the small gains to be made each day trying to trade.
I'll hold to end now, so intrigued how this plays out.
Hope you all get what you are looking for, happy days :-)
I remember the junior days very well Mr Big, cleaning toilets, loading vans, fetching lunch etc. I started in factories not offices. Character building because you wanted to make it, not corrupting morals along the way thankfully.
Do notice everytime a botfly is pinned down on a specific relating to EUA they disappear for a while and spin a new argument on another thread.
If anyone can find a similar proposition to EUA in the archives so we can discuss it, see how that played out, that would be a discussion of value rather than defending vague worries and hints of trouble.
Well said Shares, I ended up rambling a bit but similar thoughts. Time for a break from this BB, but I’ll always be positive on our palladium cannons and hold shares until EUA tell me I can’t because they’ve sold them for billions
A thought struck me this evening as I catch up on the days events, if I considered for one second that the cautious/negative/disruptive posts are not at the behest of MMs, then what drives a person to be that way?
Having been around the block once or twice, you do meet some people who aren’t just glass half empty, they are fully glass cracked and leaking. The kind of person who can’t help but see the downside to all situations and life kind of passes them by, wondering why they never got the lucky break others seem to get. Perhaps they actually enjoy winding up investors, they may even take some joy from causing distress and fear.
So in the case of someone arriving in a storm of their own publicity, posting 20 times and being deleted within an hour or so, let’s assume they are the fake MM accounts. As for the ones who reach the hundreds and thousands of posts, I do wonder.
For balance, the negatives could say the same about me and others but in the opposite direction, why is this guy always positive and making light when there is so much to be worried and anxious about.
My simple answer is I only invest what I’m prepare to fully lose, no stop losses or 5% trading gains for me. I see so much in EUA via the RNSs that I’ve decided to hold for the end. If I’m a deluded old fool, you don’t need to point it out to me, because I’m a happy old fool ;-)
Exactly Stockdale, I found it impossible to argue with facts. As any sane person would.
Agree with points 1-5. 6-7 on other post and would lob in point 8 that a full company sale can’t be ruled out if a bidding war kicks off.
Hi Stockdale I’ll have a go at this deramping nonsense. In brackets are the response before they post similar
Please note - I don’t hold this negative opinion at all.
1. Negotiations can fall apart at any time regardless of what they tell us or not (yeah they do, and they also succeed many times for massive payouts)
2. (Insert name of company) went bust once and they had experienced directors (what relevance is that to anything!)
3. Probably sell it for less than worth (gonna be over a billion given rising Pd prices)
4. Probably decide not to have a special divi, (no reason at all for this because it’s a lame point by the time you get to number 4)
5. They’re just rubbish at communicating (despite all the activity prior to negotiations and obvious silence during a closed period)
How did I get on? It’s really hard being negative on such a positive story like EUA is now.
In a few posts across a couple of hours, you’ve managed to unite everyone on the BB. If you could do same with Brexit then you’d get my vote.
Admittedly it’s a shame you’ve only brought up posts with a positive message and reminded lots of people why they invested in EUA and continue to hold, probably wasn’t your aim but take what wins come our way eh?
Love the one dimensional attacks this evening, a nice reminder that our shares are worth holding.
Does feel a little pointless :
1. Those who wanted to sell up did a while ago on the retrace from 4.2p
2. No one believes the ‘innocent’ not sure whether to invest, like you’ve stumbled across an AIM share on a Sunday evening with a spare grand or so but suddenly know lots about it (only negative views of course)
3. We know volumes are drying up, so the SP is due some movement before long to try and make a market. If no one sold a share on Monday there would still be plenty of demand to buy so SP moves up again.
In the meantime, life carries on, EUA continue to get ready for the next mining season and have plenty to update us on when it is appropriate and timely to do so.

Great post appreciate it. Only been in ROCK for a couple of weeks but can see a strong few months ahead as the results are released.
One question for those with more knowledge, does the current SP reflect the state of first result alone, or does it include an expectation of the remaining 11?
As I’ve seen elsewhere over many years, proving the resource is one thing, having a plan to sell or extract makes all the difference !
GLA
I’m very positive on EUA but don’t see it reaching £1 any time soon.
If Norilsk Nickel are in pole position and they recently raised 750m euro for future acquisitions that’s a long way short of £3bn. I’d predict somewhere between 20-30p as a special divi for selling off Monchetundra to NN, happy with anything above 20p
