As i mentioned when China announced a relaxation of the rules. it's not rocket science any more, is it? Now 11p because the press are eagerly reporting any whiffof panic.

A new variant will come out of china, it will be a major surprise if it does not. However, this is already priced in and china will hit peak covid in Feb, according to their estimates. The only way GDR sp will rise further now is if a break-out variant is reported. Anddont worry, the press are on our side. They can't wait to announce a suspected break-out variant, they rake it in each time. I expect sp to peak at 20-30p on suspected break-out news. We've been here long enough to know how GDR sp reacts, it reacts far more slowly to break out news so it won't be difficult to buy on news. But the immediate headwind is the AGM-related RNS. andas we've learned over the years with GDR - now news is bad news! lol.

It won't matter wrt sales but the SP will increase on horrendous news about any new variant of major concern. So that'll be nice... or not?

There will be new variants but unlikely to be a break-out variant. However, china will have increased the likelihood that a break-out variant emerges. I believe this is why GDR returned to 9.5p from 8p as the rise occurred a day or two after china announced it would ease its zero-covid strategy. GDR sp has form benefitting from external news and falling on internal news (with very few exceptions). In other words, it's a very poorly managed company and PI's who are in profit should count themselves lucky or very smart.

Lol. The revenue/bonus ratio must surely mean that Mr Budd and Mr Shaw are the fattest of the fat cat CEO's in the whole world. But Mr Shaw can be forgiven, his 40k salary must be one of the lowest CFO salary in the UK. Which it should be considering lack of revenue.

interesting to read that the new CFO earned almost 1/3 of the previous CFO (who quit after getting a job as CFO with a growth company - as he put it at the time) . I wonder whether Mr Shaw knew what Mr Fowler was earning. Mr Shaw has set a good example though, the rest of the board should follow suit a take 1/3 of their current salaries.

mr lloyd, but havent you read page 29 where it states 'what the board did'? They've had an incredibly busy year. The board worked their socks off, so they did.
