RE: RNS - Mr Budd??17 Dec 2021 09:19
of course they'll take a holiday. I hope the sales team doesn't , but the trouble is their counterparties, eg the procurement staff of the NHS, may take a holiday. Why? Perhaps because they've already signed contracts this or last week with their current suppliers to provide more tests. GDR gave that as a reason for not penetrating markets... they were too slow to market and it became impossible to replace other suppliers due to contracts having already been signed. THat was one of the lessons they learned yet they didn't apply it to the POC. POC approval should've been ready end of 21Q1, as they promised, then end of Q2, then again end of Q3 and finally end of Q4 , perhaps just when its too late to win some contracts they get CE approval. It did wonders for sp but was it too late to clicnh deals? I suspect so otherwise GDR would've released the good news in an rns by now, as that's the way they do things. Good news, even the hint of it , is released quickly, bad news is kicked down the road (end of H1, as stated in presentation). I believe, the news we read in the papers about running out of tests is old news for the people who sign contracts.
