Andrew Lindsay, Sir David Logan and Euan Worthington resign as directors of the Company. David Whitehead remains as Non-Executive Chairman and Simon Purkiss becomes Executive Deputy Chairman, while Paul Lush continues as a non-executive director. European Nickel anticipates the appointment of an additional independent non-executive director shortly thereafter.   Robert Gregory has been the Managing Director of Rusina since 2005 and is a mining engineer with extensive mine development and operational experience in South East Asia and Australia, both in open pit and underground mines. His experience includes being Vice President - Mine Development for Climax Mining's Didipio Project in the Philippines from 1996 to 2000, General Manager - Operations for Giants Reef Mining in Australia from 2003 to 2005 and he was responsible for the construction of the Tanjianshan Gold Project in Western China in 2005.   Mark Hanlon has been the CFO of Rusina since 2006 and previously spent 10 years in commercial and merchant banking with Partnership Pacific Ltd, Westpac and the Bank of New Zealand before entering commerce in 1994. Yesterday I was hungover and today I just have loads on my mind... I'm about to rent out the house this month and move to the States and then travel for about a year... It's a big change for Mrs. Global and I... I do not make any secrets about my trading strategies... I mostly do volatility/swing trade "In & Out". We are all here to make money. But I think the biggest problem is... People fall in love and become emotional over these AIMs listed shares which are so volatile.! Thorough @ diligent research must be done. Anyhow... LONDON (Dow Jones)--Mercator Gold PLC (MCR.LN), said Tuesday that it has entered into a partnership with Remote Energy Solutions (RES), a renewable energy developer, in relation to the Warm Springs solar power project in New Mexico. MAIN FACTS: -The Warm Springs project is being developed in close proximity to the Copper Flat copper-gold-molybdenum-silver project by Mercator's subsidiary Warm Springs Renewable Energy Corporation or WSREC. -20-80MW solar power project planned, with RES to coordinate planning, permitting and development -Permitting targeted for completion in 2010 and construction targeted to commence during 2011 -Mercator to hold minimum 70% interest in WSREC; RES to hold initial 10% with right to acquire up to 30% by contributing to construction costs -The estimated construction cost of a 20MW facility is in the range of $60-$80 million. -It is anticipated that this capital requirement will be met by means of project-level debt and equity financing. -Discussions have been initiated with a number of solar power plant constructors and technology providers. -Both traditional flat plate photovoltaic and newer concentrating solar technologies are being evaluated.
