One reason i expect is ehen large orders are being filled they drop the price by taking out losses, so if some one wanted 20m shares and put ordered in say at 0.12, MM will try and fill that order by getting those 20m shares as cheaply as possible, and profit from the difference. That's my understanding anyway.
