RE: Any RNS7 Dec 2021 11:42
New here, so a little hesitant to express an opinion. But (humor me):
(1) The SP movement in the short term matters little, especially if observing volume traded vs shares in issue. I don't see any stampede for the exit, for example. If anything, I see MMs trying to entice buyers into the market, or, alternatively, I see MMs short of stock and therefore dropping the bid to spook weak hands into selling. Either way, there's no need to panic.
(2) As with all stocks, but particularly in the biotech sector, you have to question whether you're a trader or an investor. This really impacts timeframes - your window of investment. As I think I read Brewsky say before, everyone's a trader these days - in it for the quick buck. My experience tells me that, if that's the case, biotech stocks are probably not for you. You need to be able to see the bigger (and longer) picture!
(3) A paucity of news is 'de rigueur' for biotech stocks in my experience, and COVID-19 has, sadly, exacerbated this (due to obvious 3rd party issues/testing protocol delays/etc.). We need news, no doubt, but we need to forgive timelines being pushed back, since such problems are essentially beyond HEMO's control.
In short, I'm totally comfortable with my investment, and would probably see any significant downward pressure on the SP as a major buying opportunity. Just my opinion, fwiw. GLA.
