Or advised to do so by PH? Increasingly, I'm thinking PH have royally screwed us.
What's clear is the MMs drop the bid obviously to encourage buyers, but also to spook holders into selling. The psychology at play in encouraging LTHs into selling might be along the lines of: "There are a large number of LTHs sitting on handsome profits. If we drop the bid, those handsome profits evaporate little by little. 800% profit slowly but surely becomes maybe 300% profit and then we reach squeal point. They'll be unable to stand it any longer, and sell, at which point, we hoover up!" I think I agree with Bigeasy that the playbook at the moment is 'fleece the LTHs'.
Incidentally, it seems the only 'bottom' we've reached is the one Utah talks out of.
Nope, looks like the 'Utah kiss of death' has struck again! Utah, could you not predict a crash in Sareum's SP, and then maybe we'd take off? Just a thought...
I hope you're right, Utah, for once. The law of averages would suggest that at least one of your price predictions will come true! Let's face it, your track record has been pretty abysmal recently. Anyway, here's hoping you've nailed this one! GLA.
With all due respect, buying a juicy Italian steak for however many euros is hardly the same as persuading investors that your IP is worth billions of pounds. If you want the city slicker types onside, you have to look the part. First impressions count for a lot in today's world, rightly or wrongly. Pitching up to a business meeting in a Reliant Robin, wearing an off-the-rack acrylic suit, and with a Casio G-Shock on your wrist just ain't going to cut it. Presenting to investors and potential licensees, whilst swiveling on a squeaky chair, smacks of unprofessionalism, in my opinion. I'm in awe of TM's scientific acumen, don't get me wrong. I'm just not convinced of his business acumen, that's all. Capisce?
Thoughts and prayers, Warthog.
Is the BoD really to blame? Much of the SP drift has occurred since PH came onboard. Coincidence or conspiracy? Timelines have been pushed back, but how much is that TM/JR sitting on their backsides doing jack, and how much is it Covid-related (3rd party delays/supply chain issues). Progress regarding SRA 737 is frustrating, but certainly out of Sareum's hands as I understand it. There does seem to be a lack of urgency regarding AGILE and the whole "outperforms dexamethasone/on a par with baricitinib" claim (early July, ffs) but could this be the government dragging its heels? I'm still keen on the AGILE route, but only IF we can differentiate SDC1801 for COVID from SDC1801 for autoimmune diseases. (Is this even possible?) We could then get funding, early clinical phase fast tracking, and rapid collection of data which could then also propel progress in SDC1802 forward in tandem. My main criticism is actually a problem of credibility. If, as Ahfam (and others) claim, we're "going to pound land", could we at least act like a 3 billion pound company, and not present investor conferences with squeaky chairs as an annoying and distracting backdrop? That last presentation was amateur hour in the extreme, and the Q&A session pitiful (grouping questions together into general topics so as to avoid answering specific questions). In short, I think the important issues are a waiting game, but please can we improve how we present to would-be investors and potential licensees?
There's been enough toil and strife this week without the missus playing up!
Kind of feel like my chi has been gangbanged by a bunch of ****ney barrow boys. Anyone else experiencing the same feeling?
We've dropped roughly 25% since the addition of PH (sp on 29/10/21 was 6.40p). Prior to that we had been treading water, admittedly, but can this be merely coincidence?
'"Wonderful", as Dirty Harry was wont to say.'
The question is, Warty, "Do you feel lucky, punk?"
Talking of 'lucky', where's LUCAN, to point out the bleeding obvious?
We're only "being had" if we sell, I guess. Our patience is being sorely tested, that's for sure (probably by PH and their acolytes). However, the trick is not to be sucked in, top up or switch off (up to you), but wait for the mother of all RNSs. This is so reminiscent for me of when the SP hovered around 0.6p, and many (including me!) were questioning the wisdom of our investment in SAR. Then, in fairly short order, we went to 9p. 15x from here (5p) takes us to 75p everyone! Could it happen again? It's for you to decide, but fwiw I'm happy to wait it out. GLA.
No problem selling my entire holding. If this was in free fall, wouldn't it go NT? Offered 4.93p at the time. Also, volume at 6m shares traded as I type. The stench is quite overpowering...
Utah, given your previous price predictions, please let me know what you decide to do so that I can do the exact opposite!
potnak, you're beginning to sound like a scratched record. You're annoyed because of the delays. We get it, since you said the exact same thing last week! But for the love of God, how many other listed companies have experienced delays in the last two years due to the small matter of a global pandemic - supply chain issues, personnel problems due to absence, physically being unable to conduct experiments/toxicity studies (the main reason for the delays, imo) due to lockdown protocols? It's true, the market punishes delays, but to say these were of our own making is simply rubbish. You seem intent to stick the oar in at any given opportunity, despite the fact that you must be sitting on a handsome profit, having been invested for a while. You defend people like Fadec, who not long ago was touting fair value to be 1.38p. Thank God I didn't listen to him at that time! But he's great according to you! It seems to me you have an agenda here. You want the price to decrease because, by your own admission, you've sold a chunk and want to buy back in cheaper. This we also get! Don't we all! But don't try to blame the board for delays "of their own making" as this is spreading rumor that is totally unjustified and tantamount to slander. AIMHO.
Warty has a sense of humour? His glass must be three quarters empty and it's only 3:30pm! Have a great weekend all!
... going through. Something afoot?
Fair enough, potnak. No one wants delays, but there has been the small matter of a pandemic to contend with. All I know is that patience has served me well over the years. As you say, the science is exciting - no issues there then. It's perhaps TM's overly optimistic timelines that are irking people, but it is what it is, for whatever reason. Hang in there is my mantra!

Up over 275% in one year. My glass is most definitely half full.
