...traded, and we're down 4.5%? Really? I think the MMs need to grow up, if they think they can spook me into selling. This is becoming an increasingly common occurrence. A sure sign news is imminent.
...our golden tickets just got a lot more scarce, and 50x more expensive.
I, too, am wary of PH (particularly the German arm of the company - 'Peel ****z'), but what to do?
I mentioned a while ago OXB did something similar a few years back. Their SP doubled over the next few years so it's not all doom and gloom.
I just can't understand what the delay is regarding the toxicology report. It feels like our patience is being sorely tested, mostly since PH were engaged. Anyway, I'm holding for dear life but doubts are creeping in... Probably best to switch off until we get concrete news on the science.
Agree, Wolfie. Number of shares in issue post-consolidation = 68,069,416,
I'm sorry, but the 1st of February marked the 8-month anniversary of the following RNS:
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/SAR/covid-19-research-project-results-j5q89njlqb68nqx.html
Edited highlights include:
1) "The results of the project found that SDC-1801 reduced the levels of cytokines associated with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) in human lung cells infected with SARS-CoV-2 and demonstrated a profile that was superior to the anti-inflammatory steroid dexamethasone and similar to baricitinib, a JAK1/JAK2 inhibitor." Great! So why, 8 months later, are we still awaiting a further update? This pandemic has been possibly the worst health crisis to hit the world in a century and seemingly a potential solution is going begging. Not good enough.
2) "The results from our Covid-19 research project are very encouraging and provide clear evidence of the potential of SDC-1801 to reduce the excessive inflammatory response seen in severe Covid-19." Encouraging for whom, pray? The people who are dying from Covid-19, still? The families who have since lost loved ones? The millions of people who have had their lives turned upside down? Again, I say, not good enough.
3) "The Grant for the project was awarded to Sareum through the Innovate UK Sustainable Innovation Fund for projects that address and mitigate the health, social, cultural and environmental impacts of the Covid-19 outbreak." Great! But if we're not going to follow through on the "encouraging results", why on earth did we apply for the grant in the first place? Once again, not good enough, and in addition a waste of taxpayers' money.
Sorry for the rant, but it's becoming increasingly clear that either someone is asleep at the wheel, or the apparently encouraging results are not what they initially seemed. Either scenario is, for me at least, a major concern.
Welcome to the world of biotech investments.

As an aside, the UT at close of play obviously skewed the real SP. We should open at 4p tomorrow, up 5% or so. (Just in case anyone is worried about the apparent 6.42% slide.)
Spank, if you are indeed incontinent and residing in a nursing home by the time SAR comes good, you'll probably also have forgotten you had any shares at all, let alone what the password is to your trading account, so it won't matter much either way! Let's hope SAR hits the jackpot before we're all too old (or too dead) to enjoy the fruits of our investment. GLA!
MrIndia, lol! I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist it! Long may the rise continue. Here's hoping...
Might silence MrDoomandGloom for a while, at least!
Matty, at one point I was 70% down on my investment in SAR. Almost 2 years later, I'm up 350%. Hopefully you'll recover any paper loss and also be in profit eventually. Just hang in there (if my experience is anything to go by).

Apologies if posted before, but perhaps a timely reminder of the whys and wherefores of the pre-IND meeting. Hemo requested this on December 13th I believe, and as the article states the meeting is normally scheduled for 60 days later i.e. around 13th February. Hopefully any feedback from the FDA would be shared by Hemo with all stakeholders, and thus some news might be expected sooner than the summer, surely?
So, roughly 29m shares traded (around 1% of shares in issue) and we're down 14%? How can this not be anything other than a massive over-reaction? Or am I missing something?
Beginning to feel like DMTR.
On 22 Jan, 2022, at 16:32, you wrote: "And here we go again. Because you don’t know exactly what’s happening that obviously means they’re either up to something, or don’t have a clue what they’re doing? Imagine being that full of your own self importance". Would you care to retract that, Gussy, old boy?
"How do thery calchulate mcap"? Thoth on the pi55 again?
In fairness, HE1 is up today!! Honestly, though, MrIndia you're in the wrong share if you're wanting immediate gains. Best to think of Hemo as a medium to long term investment. Patience is the order of the day. Don't stress the day-to-day gyrations otherwise your blood pressure will go through the roof, old thing. Keep calm, and go for long walks.
the spread? Kind of killing the action. Is it to discourage buys, or encourage sells?? I can't fathom the logic.
Chinese New Year is February 1st, 2022, the Year of the Tiger. Well, the markets are certainly taking a mauling. But is this just the Chinese equivalent of 'Black Friday' or, perhaps more precisely, 'Cyber Monday'? Just a thought. Anything in the 3p range must surely be a screaming buy?
"So many of you are expressing a desire for style over substance." Not really. Personally, I would just prefer the substance to be presented stylishly, in accordance with a company that boasts a current market cap of 141m pounds, but with aspirations (according to some on here) to be a billion pound (or more) company. If that's nauseating, feel free to puke, but you must have a very fragile constitution if that makes you sick!
A bit late if it's already in the public domain. It just makes them look like ranking amateurs, imo.
