I hadn't realized that, on no less than 3 separate occasions, shares in Berkshire Hathaway had been down around 50%. Just thought I would share, especially for those (like me) who are getting jittery with the direction of the market in general.

Hi Blastoid, good to know you're here as well. Yep, the price action/MM games are very reminiscent of what we experienced over at Sareum two or three years ago. Hemo is arguably just as advanced as Sareum, with their Hemo-Car-T therapy making significant progress towards phase 1 clinical trials (as is of course Sareum's SDC-1801), yet we're valued here at 13m quid and Sareum close to 150m! Go figure! I'm expecting a rapid re-rate once/if positive news drops here. But the waiting can be painful! A huge dollop of patience is required, and a liberal use of the filter option. Good luck!

No problem selling my entire holding, so clearly the MMs happy to buy at these levels. Seen this kind of price action on tiny volumes many times before. The trick is not to be spooked into selling by the "death by a thousand cuts" tactic.

Thanks WIP and HBD. I did think the link might be tenuous, although the fact that SRA737 (and therefore indirectly Sareum) was/is firmly on the radar of the deputy director of drug development at the Institute of Cancer Research can only be encouraging for us, I would suggest. I do kind of feel I'm scratching around for news, however - any scrap will do - as we wait patiently for Sareum to reveal its hand. Come on, Tim, throw us a bone, for pity's sake!

Just trying to understand a potential connection between Sareum and an article in today's Telegraph. The common denominator seems to be Professor Udai Banerji.

One does, occasionally, witness the odd clump of tumbleweed blow across the bulletin board, but other than that, it's pretty much like the Mary Celeste on here. Not such a bad thing when one reads the vitriol often posted on other forums. I guess no news is good news in these volatile times. Last August we did get a pre-close trading update so not really expecting too much excitement before then (unless we get more major holding notifications or director/PDMR shareholdings RNSs). Definitely a hold for me.

My thoughts exactly, James, coupled with an SP that is very much range bound at the moment. Normally, at least in the past, no news would have equalled an SP drifting lower and lower - a kind of death by a thousand cuts. Painful viewing! However, things have been eerily quiet on the SP front lately, which is especially surprising given the recent market volatility. Maybe reading too much into it, but it definitely feels that something is afoot. June 2021 was a cracking month for us. Hopefully, June 2022 will be equally as exciting.

It's obvious people are trading this share. Don't be so naive.

If I was a betting man, I would place my bet on Desert Crown in the Derby. But an investment (long term) in a Biotech company is an educated punt based on due diligence and sound research. I know which I prefer. GLA.

"Hemogenyx is part of the Medicine and Biotech sector." A quick question. Has anyone been invested in the Medicine and Biotech sector before? Because, if you have, you'll no doubt realize that this is all part of the dance. Today, 2,379,561 shares have been traded - so far. Not all are sells, but probably the majority are, granted. Let's imagine they're all sells. This represents perhaps 0.3% of shares in issue, yet we're down 4.84%. People on this bulletin board need to get a grip. The share price is being played, and there are some on here who are, knowingly, or unknowingly, feeding the negativity. We all know who. Those that seem to post 'ad nauseam' every hour, sounding like a scratched record - "Oh, woe is me! Somebody just sold a bunch of shares. Boo hoo! Why would anyone sell?!! If this share was so good, what possible rationale might there be for selling? Please, anyone, buy some shares! Or else I'm calling The Samaritans!" These people are the real joke, the real amateur drama queens! The Bollywood wannabes! They need to grow a pair (assuming, of course, they haven't already transitioned, lol!). The truth is, we need to see the dance for what it is, see through the games, and believe (for the long term) that the science is sound and to ignore the noise (if that's not a contradiction, lol!). Rant over and out. Anyone care for a waltz?!!

Margin Call is another great movie, documenting the collapse of a fictional investment bank in 2008 (presumed to be Lehman Brothers).

Trading AIM shares is fine but fraught with danger, as the spread is invariably wide and the news can often drop without warning. I just buy and hold these days. It's a rollercoaster, admittedly, but it's all about whether you believe or not. What's revealing is the type of people who trade e.g. those who post on bulletin boards daily - even hourly - with their running commentary as to who has bought (and, especially, sold) what, and who try 'ad nauseam' to spread fear and doubt. Follow these clowns if you want but you'll be seriously out of pocket. I can almost guarantee it. Follow the science, trust your instincts, do your own due diligence, and you'll be fine. But STAY LONG.

Hi Senza, I think you've probably timed your entry here pretty well. And you're right about the number of shares in free float. This from the ESYS website: "Percentage of securities not in public hands: 53.46%". I'm not sure how up-to-date this is, but I think your figure of roughly 30 million shares is correct. I think the kind of investor we should be trying to attract would be a high net worth individual who might buy into the capital of the company through a subscription. This happened last year over at Sareum and boosted the share price massively, whilst also ensuring there was enough money in the bank to see it through phase 1 clinical trials in at least one of its molecules, thereby mitigating the risk of a capital raise. Such individuals would want to do much more due diligence in the company than merely listening to a presentation from Vlad at some conference or other. I do, however, believe this kind of investment might be in the pipeline. Just a waiting game at the moment I'm afraid.

All YOU do is feed into that narrative - no news = bad news, therefore we should all be scared and sell immediately. Personally I'm bored of hearing/reading your pathetic attempts at spooking investors into selling. A Thai proverb - something about snakes - springs to mind. Filter this creep would be my advice.'
