A very Happy Birthday to you Glebe. Next RNS is for your Birthday
@kingkonggrider think of it as a symphony orchestra building like the epic crescendo that bridges (7:30 to 8:44) the third and fourth movements of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAQFJ1YpFaI
@Glebewhite todays clue is here https://twitter.com/gjbrandon/status/1280792436663599111?s=20
@Glebewhite & @Paulcon62. Absolutely this cryptic clue roadmap is not a material RNS, but it is very important as far as the Company, the employees and even shareholders are concerned. So if you are a fan of puzzles great, if not, no need to be annoyed. It is all good regardless. 2020 is a good year for Integumen and the consortium partners and this will be reflected as we moving into H2.
@Mattynix7 I was born a few hundred meters from Old Trafford, so I had to answer this one for sure. Shareholders are partners, not parasites. Todays clue https://twitter.com/gjbrandon/status/1280405320901238784?s=20
@Argylerich over 25 years I have realised that Universities are wonderful fermenters of ideas and concepts that in isolation make for great media headlines and eventually get lost in academia. Aptamers and Affimers have been around nearly 15 years as alternative therapeutic treatments to monoclonal antibodies. They are better known in the cancer treatment sector for their abilities to bind to specific targets. This is why there is a race to linear-flow antigen and antibody tests. They are seeking to identify the presence of the virus. So, capturing a virus such as SARS-CoV-2 is not novel. The value is doing something with what you have captured.
@odgie992 Everything you say has some relevance, but it's bigger than that. To aggregate all the skills, expertise and solutions for any industry is the key to dominating as the big fish, rather than the minnows who chase for the scraps in the target markets.
You need to dig deep. More tomorrow.
My Dad, who passed 11 years ago used to do the cryptic crossword puzzle every day. I love chess, so solving problem is in my blood. Here is the first tweet in a countdown that may drive a few nuts, but others may enjoy figuring it out. https://twitter.com/gjbrandon/status/1280194311104147457?s=19
@Stu @Cammy I like the analogy and would describe it in the following manner.
MWG have been blessed with one of the most experienced forwards and two of the best known strikers (Microtox and Microtrace) in the water contamination monitoring that have between them 30 years of experience in international (global) accumulated expertise.
Unfortunately, the defenders were chasing Membranes and desalination balls and were not passing the ball forward to the ones who could deliver the results. In the end, the forwards were coming back to defend, rather than strike.
The SKIN team was dropped in to provide robust defense in production and create left and right wing support with instant alert opportunities to be dropped right into the forward positions with real commercial expertise and artificial intelligence to give the two strikers multiple chances to shoot for goals, all over the world.
A world class performance as they perfect their skills and combine their commercial and brand skills to be number 1 in the world on land and sea.
Operating on 4 Continents it is easy to see awards not just in China, but rewards for world class solutions to global problems.
That's the vision for where we are heading
@trillsg, Something like that, but we already have an existing branded (Microtox) footprint around the world with Modern Water and have very specific target clients who are waiting for us to complete what we are currently doing right now.
@ImABeliever a few minor issues. The Board of Directors is answerable to shareholders and voting on and off the Board is a matter for shareholders at the AGM for those directors who are eligible to put themselves forward.
The Board appoints the Executive and is responsibility for the strategic direction of the Company.
Therefore it would be highly inappropriate for an executive to be answerable to a shareholder outside of proper channels.
As you see, I have taken it upon myself to be an open channel to shareholders and would be happy to respond within the confines of AIM Rule 10 and EU MAR regulations and often do so in response to questions from shareholders.
That said, the Board is fully cognisant of the disappointment of long term shareholders and since joining have undertaken a substantial change in strategy with very specific direction to the executive to carry out those objectives.
To achieve that requires the support of the Board to management and vice versa. I do believe that the RNS over the last 5 months clearly shows this to be working, which can be seen from the recovery of the share price.
I will make one very fine point. During the COVID19 global panic, the share price of MWG had dropped below the 0.5p placing price, and those who would have liked to participate in the placing had days to do so before the share price recovered more than 300% since March, long after the placing.
Cammy, there is nothing casual about loss from a business model that was unable to achieve the aspirations of early supporters. I cannot alter that, but can work to recover, as much as possible, the faith and investment of shareholders who have been disappointed. That takes time and we have only had 4 months compared to 12 years.
@mugginthedog the numbers are historical, before the beginning of the turnaround. As negative as you wish, you know your comment is not fair as it does not reflect the last 4 months. I won't debate historical matters, but when you liquidate 2 subsidiaries and you report revenues from ongoing operations, of course you get less revenues. So I ask, not to change your negative opinion based on your historical disappointment, but to consider the reason you got in to this share in the first place. The technology is great if properly commercialised and you can take a view to stay in, based on the future opportunity, or leave, based on your believe that things have not and will not change.
@mugginthedog You of all people in here, who have been around for many years can be disappointed based on your early investment. However, converting a business model and transforming a business across 3 continents in the middle of a global lockdown is not exactly the easiest thing to achieve, yet here we are. So don't judge a book by its cover, the website is on top of a fully integrated AI supported system hat was built for clients. I am not writing this to convince you that all is well, now we are here, but it is different, after only 4 months. It takes time, not just timing and we are upgrading and turning at the same time.
On the Annual Report there will be Post Year end events, much of which is detailed in the links to RNS. This is a turnaround project from sales of high ticket projects to high volume water contamination monitoring, lower CapEx and Opex by leveraging collaboration and cooperation sharing revenues on recurring income streams. This begun in March and we are heading into 4th Month. There is a lot done and still some things to do. The outlook in the AR should provide a view of the future and delays here are technical with additional regulations this year and COVID19 access to advisors where the company has subsidiaries in US, China and UK.
As the RNS today states. The London Stock Exchange and the Registrar of Companies have approved a delay to the publication and filing of the Company's Final Results of up to three months to 30 September 2020 in line with measures introduced for companies affected by the current pandemic. However, the Company expects to be in a position to announce its Final Results shortly.

Worth taking a look at how it works https://www.biobot.io/covid19 on this page
Step 1 collect samples
Step 2 mail in sample
Step 3 lab analysis
Step 4 data analysis
Step 5 data interpretation they provide weekly updates
Real-time? Nah!!!
@AJS75
The b) section of your post. Aptamers are living organisms so have a definitive life, just like the bacteria reagents in MWG in their existing Microtox units. So RAWTest cartridges have to be replaced either when the virus is detected, or after a period of time (still to be determined, which is why we are working on them in our labs over the next 2 months).
@AJS75, @Trufflehound.
Integumen can use any source or means to capture the virus on the Cartridge plate. It could be Aptamers, it could be Affimers, it could be high frequency dielectrophoresis. The key issue is that we capture the virus onto the plate. So there are many sources. It is just convenient that we entered into an agreement a partner company called Aptamer Diagnostics. It just so happens that I am a member of the International Society of Aptamers. http://aptamersociety.org/
We are working with multiple development associates around the world and Aptamer Group are quite advanced. But they are not the sole knowledge on Aptamers.
@Gazala. The short answer is that we will have a slice of the equipment sales. However, the volumes of consumables and AI subscription is where recurring revenues are secured over years. Think of it like the installation of a Satellite dish, or mobile phone, or ink-jet cartridges.
