Why do we own up every day. (Well last 3-4) then get smashed down. What is the point in opening up ? We never hold the gains.

closing yesterday, will be interesting next few days to see if any reduced positions today. volume is now currently where it is by 3pm but we lost 4% of the gains already. Will they take it down again hitting the trailing stops that people may have put in place

Ken, if you have time to answer would be great. GAPS the other day someone said this dropped to close a gap at circa 275 ? I understand some people believe that gaps always have to be closed, but does a gap not occur every day whether it a gap up or gap down from the previous day, or is there a min movement from the previous day to make it a "gap" that in theory needs to be closed at some point. Always confused me as it never really opens the previous day close so a difference in price always occurs / GAP ?
