Good comment H, so right.
Nothing would surpise me if a US company wanted to make a bid one day as they haven't developed their own system to compete, their whole supermarket culture is decades behind the UK.
I sold out at 1745 and watched from sidelines in disbelief, even though been holding for 2-3yrs, I baulked at paying 19, just bought back some at 21-ish (could be premature). Hopefully these will be also continue to be a defensive stock as Valueplay mentioned, sorry I ignored your buy and hold advice last time!
If/when sell off occurs, I will try and buy back rest my original holding. I've tried scraping barrel for bargains but it doesn't always work, they just go further to the bottom of the barrel.
So, best stick to something long term, with real prospects. I don't know if it's just a British thing, but Ocado always been dogged by naysayers, instead of championing a groundbreaker. Finally some of the media has woken up.
Not sure Tesla could never have existed in Britain.
'They' (not the govt.) predicted the virus would be worst in UK and more than 60, 000 dead and that is sadly, coming true. So, no early end to this. The concept of a new normal, is crytalising in people's minds.
