hi John, I think if you are prepared to wait, you can't go wrong. I paid 227 yesterday and then cursed myself, so, yes quite hard to pick the right time, especially since we have not repeated the massive falls we had 3 weeks ago.
Today is a bad day and there may be many more in short term, but we will HAVE to get over the virus one day and try and return to whatever new normal is. Maybe flights will be back on track later in year, who knows?
I'm expect these to a few years to recover properly.

Are you a long term holder or a trader?
I'm reluctant to sell, although short term, they will vaiver. SP tried to cling to 16 this morning, but not confident move. They could slip back a bit, but gut says another boost could come in not too distant future.

Had finger on trigger after they just didn't take off this morning, then too late once sell off gained momentum.
Plenty of other alternatives for people to buy when ftse recovering 3%, only natural OCD would be down.
Lets see how long it takes to scale the heights again that will show where recent interest lies..
They are still running at full capacity so you can't get better than that. Meanwhile supermarkets trying to drive customers back to their physical stores (and customers rightly afraid to do that).
There has been talk of things for later this year and why not, especially now with "battle-hardened" technology

Yes mondo, and these shares are being hoovered up now, i was going to stick neck ou on tues and say 16 and here we are. always tempting to take some profit.....but this price is BEFORE any results come out....just wait til then!!!

You are right Simms45, but it's a painful road ahead, that's the problem. I sold some yesterday before drop because I've lost that recent short term confidence I had. Not sure where that recent lift came from.
Economic misery is starting to build now. Ryanair probably thinks he will charge customers £500 to fly one way to Faro to recoup losses, buy which of the recently unemployed is going to pay that, a city worker who can't pay their rent?
How long will that tactic work before reality sinks in?
Around 200 or less probably still a good buy. We will have to return to fly someday and there will be an intial boost to SP.
I've still got IAG I paid a lot for, that I expect might take many years to recoup.

Easy 15+, Ragge...less than a month from last time this price. My feeling is, investors realise there is little downside to these in the current climate.

Companies will want to restart because the Govt WON'T be paying 80% of thier wages, nor will they be paying self employed. This Govt. will be looking to evade all it's PR promises in the same way they evaded buying masks and ventilators when they had the opportunity.
I will be glad to see IAG flying, but I am not buying the Chinese propaganda that everything is hunky-dory over there. No new cases? .......as if.

I have to admit I missed out completely, a small glimmer of hope and sp is rocketing. I would expect then to fall back later in week...but I might be wrong about that too!

price building up again after good movement in past 3 days

Price seems reluctant to go into lower 190's at moment, very small trading window at present.

We have smartpass too, nothing.

Owls : My wife tried again and told me Ocado is "ONLY" servicing vulnerable, so I've no idea who is getting the slots. Not us either.
I think a lot of people will have to go back to visiting stores, despite it being less than ideal. We've done click and collect at a Tesco, but not available at all stores...it's all random.

Share price seems to be strengthening a little, survived Friday's fall. As far as I can see there is AGM on May 6, no idea if any trading will be updated then. Otherwise full results early July, so quite a wait. Hard to believe they could could be anything but good, in my mind.
